Mouse issue

I just started playing the game and I am at the first part where it tells you to drag the mouse cursor down and look at a picture, but I can pull my mouse all the way down it only goes half way. Tried adjusting screen size and even resolution but nothing seems to help.

Anyone else having control problems with the mouse?

Hello, you just need to click and drag to the "LOOK" word and release.

Like you Elvoc, I was doing the same thing. The picture on screen leads you to believe you need to drag mouse to the picture....... Was driving me nuts at well.

I did that and yet still nothing is happening for me. I tried exiting the game and coming back, but still clicking and dragging to look does nothing for me. :\

I finally figured out how to solve the problem by Googling and found that someone mentioned to lower the resolution which did fix my mouse problem. It's odd because I was able to play Ep1&2 on the same settings but not Ep3. Oh well, it's fixed now so anyone else having issues should play about with the resolution and maybe lower the settings too.

you can solve this by disabling controller support.

C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Life Is Strange\Engine\Config (or wherever you do your installs), edit BaseEngine.ini and change


AllowJoystickInput=1
to
AllowJoystickInput=0

I know this is an old thread, but I really hate this menu mechanic. Is there another way of selecting the options, say a key binding? I've upped my mouse sensitivity in windows but it only seems to affect Max's camera speed not the cursor speed when selecting options in menus. I have to move my mouse what feels like miles before I can click "look".

If that didn't work, no. You can bind a secondary key to the "Interact" action (default C), but it just replaces the holding the left mouse button.
If you have a controller, you can play with it. There you can use the buttons to select the interactions.

I dont think ur stupid...lots of ppl seem to think the same...its the developers who doesnt know how make simple mechanics work according to how the average gamer behaves....

I've got the same problem as Square Jason. This game is broken, years after the release.
