But, to some degree, I don't think he, Frank and Victoria are that bad. We all have our flaws. "Good" and "Bad" are just words. People are complicated.
But I'm not sure how the game will developt these characters. Maybe in the end Nathan and Victoria are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and Jefferson is a good guy after all (wich I doubt). But maybe both kids have his reasons to be like that, even if I don't agree with them.
They probably will try to at least make him a sympathetic villain like maybe his father abused him and his mother, so she takes a bunch of pills to commit suicide, Nathan finds her and now he has this weird thing of taking pictures of unconscious women to feel closer to his mother. That way at least they avoid trying to make us feel bad for a rapist. Also I find it hard to believe Nathan and David are really working together considering Nathan drugs and shoots David's step daughter.
As for Samuel I think they may be tricking us with the fashion stuff in his supply room. The book in the office and Max's response to it makes me think they'll reveal him as gay, a cross dresser, or trans. They probably won't show him in full drag or being overly gay, they'll just heavily imply it.
Jefferson is obviously going to get some evil points since he's the only main male character outside of Warren that is nothing but nice, and they did say they wanted everyone to be multilayered. Then again he does slut shame Kate pretty bad.
No. He's crazy. lol
BUT then Nathan takes it too far. Nathan knows that David wants surveillance on Chloe and Kate, so Nathan ends up taking things WAY too far in a deranged but desperate plea for acceptance from SOMEBODY (Because he's not getting it from his home, evidenced by his conversation in ep3 in the diner).
But Nathan's real f'd up.
idk, all I know is that this game is trying to throw you off. So expect the unexpected and expect a sad ending. I'm calling it.
Well, I just don't like the "And they lived happily ever after ..." endings. Or some endings. Depends of the style of the game/movie/book, etc.. I like "happy" endings with some sacrifices. And I usually like bittersweet endings (if well made). One of my favorites games, Planescape: Torment, is a dark game in general, and even if the "better ending", you don't get the "happy ending" really. Dark Souls series is another one.
Like a said above, it depends of the game. Life is Strange use themes similar to Donnie Darko, Butterfly Effecft and others "chaos theory/buttherfly effect theory" effects on time travel, so, I really don't expect a perfect ending, where everybody is happy. You can't just f*ck time that much without consequences. I think in the end, we must chose something.
