Granted there's a lot of marketing in the trailer, but there was dialog that was going to be used in-game. In fact, there is a deleted scene with Daniel that you can see here (Episode 2 beta):

But not in this case. I'd love if the choices we made would actually have bigger consequences after every episode.
They do this ALL THE TIME, almost every single trailer known to man, be it for movies, tv shows, games, etc., will have content that either eventually gets cut from the full release, or was specifically made for the trailer (there was some movie a few years ago, a pretty generic horror/slasher film about people getting killed on christmas or something, but it become infamous because almost every single scene in the trailer was cut from the final release)
So basically, yea, they COULD have just recorded Nathan's lines for the trailer, but those lines are pretty huge in terms of the story and how it all fits together. Given how much thought Dontnod has put into this whole series so far, i highly doubt they would record lines like that just for the trailer... it seems more likely that they intended for those lines to be somewhere in episode 4 (or 5), but realized how huge of an impact those lines have on the story and the whole mystery of the game
Nathan's psychyatrist already said in an email in episode 4 (and i don't know how old the email is, i didn't check the date, if it even had one) that he/she was tired of having his medical advice ignored by the prescott family and was therefor not going to treat Nathan anymore, although he/she seemed genuinely concerned about Nathan's wellbeing
Also, think about Nathan's personality... does it make sense for him to call anyone OTHER than his father "big daddy"? Nathan is arrogant and stubborn, and he's not shown to be afraid of anyone in the game other than himself and his father (and MAYBE Jefferson, although there's probably not much evidence to support that)
Oh well, we'll see in ep. 5. :)
This has to be from the fighting scene instead, because Nathan is saying they're ALL dead, and that his dad will come. This doesn't fit with the Max and Jefferson scene, but with the Max, Chloe, and Warren scene.
What ultimately gives it away, though, is that he comments his face is disfigured. Tell me, when does that happen?
I don't see how this is hard for you to understand ICO... they wanted them to be in ep 4, they made the trailer, then afetrwards the lines got cut for whatever reason... it happens all the time, in other video games trailers, and movies, and tv shows; pretty much every form of media
It isn't. If you go to the place it should be now, you'll just hear one line of dialog.
You can't be so sure of that. Maybe it was deleted because it gave too much of the plot too early. You can also see in one earlier (also cut) file that Max asks Nathan point-blank if he raped Chloe, and he readily denies. In this one, he denies "hurting" Kate. We might hear all about it in Episode 5.
