Real Life Arcadia Bay? Possibly yes

Hey everyone,

I am some real nitpicking ♥♥♥♥ when it comes to background infos.
As many others, I wondered, where could the real life AB located.
Oregon...yeah....somewhere on the west coast....true... case closed

Sure, but am I the only one here who googled the coordinates given in Episode 4?
I don't think so, and for those who are already ahead of me, please forgive me my excitement.
This one for instance is supposed to be the location of the underground bunker:

45.496698, -123.894625

Anyone with basic navigational knowledge will easily recognize them as Latitude and Longitude. SOme Google Maps Magic, and voilà, we find our selves....right in the middle of Tillanook Bay?

Well, I admit, the coordinates are slightly (!!!) off, but being a geocacher at heart, I already know that precision is not every cache owner's gift.
So, I zoomed out a bit and....wow....this is pretty....spot on.

The Town is called Oceanside, right on the westcoast of Oregon, only 60 miles away from Portland. The town features a nice landscape, and a lighthouse is not that far away, the Cape Meares Lighthouse.

Now I know that this is not 100% accuracy, Blackwell is missing (located right at the beach), but the town lies on a hillside, and the lighthouse is not that dominating (unfortunately hidden behind the cape's spit of land)...but this is the closest fitting location to the in-game coordinates.
My second best choice would be Cannon Beach :)

So, anyone else found some good candidates?

Somebody in some other community said Bay City, Oregon looks just like Arcadia Bay... Theres a Restaurant there called Pacific Oyster, and the interior looks like the two whales.
I've never been there, just checked out google maps. It looks a bit like Arcadia Bay though ;)

Maybe Arcardia Bay is under Tillanook Bay. Maybe the storm really happened and sunk the town into the sea?

Blackwell isn't by the beach. It's on the other side of the town, up the hill. You can see it in one of the menu/title screens. That's why we get those long scenic drives when Max travels from Blackwell to Chloe's or Two Whales.

Blackwell Academy is the prominent building on the right hand side of the shot, most of the way up the hill and far from the beach.
