2. How do you feel about Chloe?
Mixed feelings, I feel sympathetic towards her, and her circumstances. I do not like how she has treated her friends, and blamed others for things they cannot be held responsible for. In EP 4 she has grown on me, the way she admitted to her past mistakes in regards to telling Max to ignore the phone call redeemed her in my eyes. I still think she can be too quick to act for her own good and quick to argue. But we're all human,.
3. How do you feel about Nathan?
At first I thought he was your stereotypical highschool jerk, and a snob. Through the episodes I've seen small glimpses of a Nathan we hadn't seen before, a troubled and manipulated kid. His relationship with his father, his mental unstability, the pressure to take over his fathers position, his sister running away to get away from their father... he's just as misunderstood and troubled as Chloe, and it irritates me that people will dismiss this and say that Chloe's reasons for what she has done can be justified whereas Nathan's cannot.
4. How do you feel about Warren?
I love Warren, he's a nerdy dude, he defends his friends and he's a love sick puppy, bless him. I will never understand the hate he gets, when he's done nothing wrong. He has a crush on Max, he's bloody human! he's allowed to fancy people, he's allowed to pursue that hope.
5. Do you want Chloe and Max to walk into the sunset at the end, or should Chloe stay dead?
I don't want them romantically to walk off into the sunset, my ideal ending would have Chloe staying in Arcadia Bay reuinited with her mother Joyce, and finally accepting that David is not out to get her, actually willing to give him the chance she never gave him. I would have Kate returning to Blackwell with her head held high, with Max, Stella, Alyssa etc, by her side walking her in, meeting Warren along the way.
6. Is all the personal drama an obnoxious distraction from the mystery surrounding the storm and powers? Or are the storm and powers just convenient storytelling tools for exploring the crucial personal drama?
I can't really say, there's so many theories that the storm is on-going already, that Max is looping time, or something along those lines, repeating the same important series of events. I do think that it's already happening, that a lot of what we've witnesses has already been. There's so many theories it hurts.
2. I like Chloe.Shes special.Shes rude and selfish sometimes and non-social but this has reasons.she is broken cause her past.she need friends to regenerate.i think she never grown up,but who has?she's into punk and i see why.i knew punks who had similiar problems.they dont give a shi.t about society when everybody lied to them.i can understand her struggles.
3.i cant really paint a picture about nathan.on one hand he is mentally unstable, brainsick and a victim of his father.on the other hand he is aggressive, has no emotions for anyone,a bully,a thug a complete rich bi.tch kid ♥♥♥♥♥♥.i dont know.his personality is half in the dark.maybe his medis makes him total out of control or the devil is inside.i wanna judge him before ep 5.
4.hm,warren is the last person in the game i think about.dont take it in the wrong way.there is just nothing interesting to tell about him.hes just boring and a bit creep.i think he has not much personality.i could more say to justin who is a siderole but he is unique.
5.sure i want chloe survives.in my game everyone survived til now.im a hippie in such things.
but i dont wanna ship someone.
6.its both.you maybe see what happens when relations are in danger.if a really big problem comes to you or everyone you will really know then who is good and who not.i think the storm is coming regardless how nice you was before.nature is brutal.
2) hella rocks :)
3) i feel sorry for him
4) before ep.4 i thought he was weird and creepy ,but after ep.4 i think he's just a normal insecure guy
5) no chloe dead ,if max has to choose between her and arcadia bay i'll go for chloe ; however if there's a chance to save both chloe and arcadia bay with max dying i'll go with that
6) supernatural is just a way to make the story more interesting (and also the rewind makes a better gameplay for this kind of game ) ,but main focus is the "normal" story and the feelings related to it
2. Yes.
3. I like Chloe a lot. She made me kind of uncomfortable when I first started playing the game, because her impulsiveness and her mood swinging into anger whenever she perceived Max wasn't giving her her undivided attention reminded me of my abusive ex. As her character develops, though, I find myself nothing but sympathetic, and even feel protective towards her, and I hope the story has an outcome where she can be happy and heal from the traumas of her past.
4. I used to just hate Nathan and think he was an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but it's become clear there's something seriously wrong with him and he's under a huge amount of stress from forces outside his control. It doesn't make his acting out acceptable, but it makes it understandable. Too many people are unable to perceive a difference there. It would be nice to see an outcome where he could find peace and guidance towards becoming a better person, but he's so far off the deep end and such a "rabid dog" character at this point that I think the most likely end is for him to die, probably in the process of doing something good to redeem himself.
5. Warren's alright. The theories that he's a secret monster make me laugh. I can relate to being a shy, nerdy person who is too withdrawn to be forward with a crush, and ending up suffering in silence when that crush seems to be involved in a relationship with someone else. I think I said "Awww" out loud when Max completely failed to notice his hug attempt in episode 1. He's gonna be fine when he opens his eyes and realizes Brooke has a thing for him, though. He's just as oblivious to that as Max is to Warren.
6. I would love for Max and Chloe to end up together in the end. They care deeply for each other, and their personalities are very complementary. Max's logic and consideration are tempered by Chloe's fun-loving impulsiveness, and vice versa. I think it would be especially great for Chloe after everything she's been through. I hope we get a hardcore cuddling scene out of them in episode 5.
7. The interpersonal drama is interesting, and, if anything, underdone. I wish the game were longer and not restricted to 5 episodes. I would have liked more development and plotlines with other students like Dana, Taylor, Courtney, Warren, Daniel, etc. who didn't really have a role beyond one or two scenes and a couple of very broad personality traits to make them more memorable than a nameless NPC. I'm definitely looking to the payoff of the supernatural mystery, too, though, although I already expect it will be a bit disappointing, because that's inevitable when you release a story in episodic format and people have hundreds of hours to over-analyze and come up with ideas the writers never considered when they laid the plot down.
8. In real life, logically I'd have to choose 1 death over many deaths. But since it's just a video game, I'd choose Chloe. I've grown attached to her, and I usually take the "noble sacrifice" path in games, and I want to see what happens if you just say to hell with everyone but your BFF.
9. I like both. Dogs are more fun to play with, but a cat that likes to be held/petted is pretty delightful too.
Your personality type: “The Mediator” (INFP-T)

Role: Diplomat
Strategy: Constant Improvement
2. I don't want Max to discard Chloe, but I want her to stand up towards her. Because I think Chloe is annoying and pushy. I don't think she is bein a good friend and Max should tell her that.
3. I think there is more to Nathan, than we think. I feel he won't be the villain. So no I don't think he is bad, but he does have issues and feels essentially lonely himself. He has gotten into trouble somehow but he doesn't want to hurt people.
4. Warren is cute... I like his posessiveness and how he protects us. He is charming and positive.
5. I don't think saving her is pointless.
6. I am all pro drama.... the supernatural stuff is not really my thing.
It's not one of these random internet quizzes. It's the standard personality test corporations and universities have used since the 1940's, giving it to about 2 million people a year. It has its flaws, but some of the "personalities" correlate significantly with specific disorders, careers, and political affiliation, so it's definitely measuring something.
2. I have disliked her from the start. She has been selfish and is always trying to make me feel bad when i do the right thing. I get that she is hurting and all, but thats no excuse for how she treats me and other people. I would try to help her, but i'm not going to put my live in danger to save. I would have ditched her ass after trying to talk her out of going after nathan. I would als give her the number of nathans psychiatrist. She clearly needs help.
3. Nathan has also done some messed up ♥♥♥♥ (i'm not counting the drugging chloe, kate etc because i still don't know if he also isn't a victim in this), but he also needs help. I blame his father for his illness and behaviour. He never had a chance.
4. My warren is going to marry max. They are adorable together.
5. I will try to save her, but i will not put other people's life at risk. If i have to choose between het and the town, i will choose the town. It just feels pointless to save her. She keeps dying.
6. I think that the girls might actually be connected to the storm and even to the prescotts.
2. Yes
3a. Max should stick with Chloe and keep her grounded. I've had friends with opposite personalities like those two are.
3b. Nathan is troubled, but it is not enough of an excuse for his behavior, he still has choices and he makes the wrong ones.
4. Warren is just an awkward kid and a bully victim. He could easily be percieved as creepy but his intentions seem good.
5. If Chloe dies, then the whole story would be pointless and unsatisfying
6. Yes
7. Chloe
8. Cat
2. No
3. I haven't known someone like Chloe, but I say they should stick together. They are benefitting each other. Max is coming out of her shell and Chloe is becoming more respectful (Apologizing in hospital).
3. I think Nathan is going to end up as a good guy. I believe what he saw in the dark room sickened him to the point of insanity and he wants to put it to an end. There is a lot of evidence for this, but I won't post it all here.
4. I'm a bit of a warren
5. I am a firm believer in the "Chloe has to die" theory, so I think saving her is pointless, as she is the "butterfly" that started the storm. The longer Max keeps her alive, the closer they get, and it'll just end up hurting more for her in the end.
6. Depends on the drama and its relevance to the mystery.
7. Arcadia Bay. Why? Utilitarianism.
8. Cat.
Nice post.
PS: How much have you delved into MBTI? Have you heard of function stacks?
loser.
2. 29
3. Always protect your loved ones, as long as you don't need to hurt innocent people instead. I've known people like Chloe, but have never been close with them.
3. the latter. He's a product of his surroundings but needs to overcome the victim role and free himself from the influence of others. Good soul trapped deep in darkness.
4. Bit of both. I think he's genuinly in love, but also creepy bc of the GPS thing and his outburst on Nathan. Bit of a psycho. Been in his shoes in my teenage years once.
5. I am personally not as much interested in Chloe's fate as in the connection of all things to be resolved in the last episode. Don't find saving her annyoing, it's the right thing to do for Max imo. If it's not possible in the end, okay. Whatever role Chloe has to fulfill, I'm fine with it.
6. It's balancing each other out, I think. Personally I am more interested in the mystery. People and their experiences for me are just tools to paint a bigger picture.
7. If I only had those two options, I would choose three.
8. Always been a dog, even though my choices have been reflecting me to be a cat person lately.
2. Yes
3. No, while I think Max should stand up for herself more and not be so influenced by Chloes whims, I don't think Max should abandon her. Max should just be a good friend and be there for her and be a good influence on her. I've never known anyone like Chloe in real life.
4. I don't think Nathan is a good person, at least not in his current state. I do feel somewhat bad for him as he has some serious mental issues that need to be worked on. I think he should take responsibility for his actions but I definitely think there is room for growth and a chance for redemption in some way.
5. Warren is just an overenthusiastic kid with a crush. He's a little weird and out there, he has his flaws, but nothing all that bad. I've known people similar to Warren in the past, they weren't bad people overall and none grew up to murderers or rapists lol.
6. I'd like Chloe to have a chance to grow some more, a second chance at life if you will. I'm hoping she stays alive.
7. The mystery is so compelling because of the characters, if they didn't develop the characters and give me a chance to care, then I wouldn't care about the mystery or the storm or anything else. Although I think it's odd Max has been so blaze about the storm that could potentially destroy her entire town lol.
7. I'd save Arcadia Bay, I like Chloe, but I'm not going to sacrifice everyone else for her.
8. Cat....I guess. I like both though, I'm just an animal person.
2. Yes.
3. I think that Max should be supportive of Chloe, but at the same time she shouldn't let Chloe drag her down. Chloe is hurting and she needs help. Help that Max alone is not equipped to provide. I don't think it's up to Max to rehabilitate Chloe. She can be a shoulder to cry on and she can try to help point her in the right direction, though. She should be there for her friend, but not get caught up in someone else's mistakes. Max needs to be more assertive. Yes, Iv'e known people like Chloe.
4. I think at this point Nathan has severe mental issues and it's clouding his judgement. But I don't believe that anyone is ever beyond help. I also don't believe that people who've made bad choices in their lives are undeserving of compassion. I think he's done some awful things, but he can turn it around with guidance and help. Nathan is actually a lot like Chloe in my eyes. He's hurting, he feels like the whole world is taking a dump on him, and he's acting out. I think it would help him a lot if he knew that someone actually cared about him. But, the sort of issues Nathan has don't go away on their own. Those are the kinds of things that take years of therapy to work out.
5. I think Warren's just a corny kid with a crush. I've known plenty of guys like him. Chances are he'll grow out of his awkwardness. Hey, at least he has the balls to let a girl know that he likes her.
6. Saving Chloe feels like an exercise in futility at this point. The girl has a date with impending doom and that's all there is too it. It's not like I want her to die for good, though. I just feel like the writers are taking a bit of a cheap shot, you know?
7. The drama's a part of the story and it wouldn't be the same without it. However, sometimes I feel like I'm slogging through too many emotions that I don't really care about trying to get to the crux of the story. I'm fine with some emotion, but when it gets heavy handed I get bored.
8. Arcadia Bay.
9. I'm a bunny person. :)
i think its better we let ppl going BECK to topic here
