So I wasn't the only one confused by that? LOL
I was sitting there thinking "what SUV? That's a truck, Max!" :p
Nice theory. But you're hopping from Max mis-labeling the car-type, to Chloe making the exact same mistake, all in one breath. :) Not likely. Max is just a super-cute hipster, who doesn't know cars; Chloe, however, probably does: especially since the car-type would have come up numerous times in Police/insurance reports and such.
I think you're forgetting that, in this timeline, Nathan has no beef with Chloe at all (she's not the blue-haired rebel trying to blackmail him, in this reality). In fact, Nathan is friends with Max even. (Sic!) Reading her SMS-es, in 'wheelchair' reality, you can even find a convo like:
Nathan: "N- Yo yo Max, u Around?"
Max: "In the dark room, developing shots for the contest."
Nathan: "Sweeet, so no Two Whales for U"
Well, fair enough, I don't know cars either, I wasn't even aware Max mis-labeled the car. Keeping in mind paralyzed Chloe isn't the blue haired punk rocker bad girl Chloe in the rest of the story, so might not know her cars either.
Nathan doesn't have any reason to hate Chloe in that timeline, no, but who says he meant to hit her? Could be pure coincidence.
They do if they're called Nathan. ;) Otherwise it would just be a ridiculously silly coincidence, that of all ppl in town, it would just happen to be Nathan.
It's not that silly of a coincidence, you hear the "Prescott" family name a lot more often than you hear other characters in town.
Even if it wasn't a coincidence, Nathan being Nathan, could be having one of his crazy freak outs in his car, possibly not paying attention, or maybe just getting mad at the random car in his view (Which happens to be Chloe's).
