If this has anything to do with American schools then I must say, America is a dangerous place to live in

The amount of guns casually being carried around near or on campus certainly hasn't done anything to shake my 'Murrican Stereotype either I must say..

Sadly many aspects of this story are reality in US-American high schools.

"How Jock Culture Supports Rape Culture, From Maryville to Steubenville"[www.thenation.com]

And yes, the USA is a dangerous place to live in, or even travel to. A German exchange student was shot last year because he went into a stranger's garage.

Edit: Can't link the article because a word of the URL is being blocked.
Edit 2: Found another news page:

Actually in Europe it's very rare that someone accidentally gets killed by a knife, club or leg lamp. In the USA it's so common that a kid shoots someone else, that it's not even newsworthy anymore.

Edit:
And it's risky to travel to the USA because of the lack of universal health care, a point I have to add, if you are interested in details. An accident in the USA can cost you a fortune and ruin your whole (financial) life. In almost all other industrialized countries there is not such a risk (watch "Sicko").

Yeah and in China either, though knives were widely used but few people(maybe more than euro) get killed by them. Guns are strictly prohibited, there's no way letting a high school student get a gun.

But its unfair to compare this with us in EU, where 1 from 10 000 have gun and even if you get shot by most random killer ever (Jefferson on vacation) almost free advanced medical care doesnt hurt you that much...
