Something strange with the 2 moons (episode 4 spoilers)
hello everyone,

After replaying a second time the episode 4, i discovered something strange.

The 2nd moon (the lowest left one) appears when Chloe goes out of her car in the Blackwell parking.

And when Max & Chloé go to the junkyard to stop Nathan, the other moon (the uppest right one) disappeared.

I still don't know why, but there must be a reason.

I saw this too. I guess it's an oversight by the devs.
Forgivable. EP4 is large.
There is also an error where chloe stabbed frank with his own knife and the game keeps telling she shoot Frank in the leg. From a criminalistic point this is significant difference.

Has anyone seen Max?

She wasn't in her dorm this morning...

She is being framed in a dark corner and captured in a moment of desperation.

From my theory:

We saw two moons. one of them had a strange outline. Now if you remember, if you have a hard choice to make, the game freezes, becomes red/like and the freezed images are kinda creating blury-moving outlines.

The exact happened with this moon, it's the same blury-moving outline. And later, it even disapperead.

My theory is that Max can rewind with a picture again, and because of this she is causing all the strange things, like the snow, the eclipse and the time travel moon.

After the double moon we see it vanishes right after they drive to the junkyard. Maybe this means that we finished time travelling while they were driving. And the only thing that comes in my mind is that we finish off Jefferson.

Jefferson is probably getting to his car as the second moon appeares to follow Chloe and Max. So what if Max actually rewinded to the picture of Warren, wait's til Jefferson goes to his car and then finishes him?

Awesome, i totally agree.
The eclipse is made by us too for sure. I think we stopped the time just on the Earth (so it has stopped moving), and the Moon kept going.

I think the moon disappeared because, through Chloe's death, the timeline is correcting itself. I hate to say it but i think Chloe is kind of "final destination"-ed to die.
Lots of folks are saying it wouldn't make sense for her to die, but.... I'm not so sure.
Feels kind of like they are easing us into a possible "chloe death choice".... How many of us accepted her request at the beginning of episode 4?

I also think we may go back and try to save Rachel. Remember that pic of Max and her friends at the Freemont troll? I'm not sure when that took place but it could be that Max goes back 6 months ago to try to save Rachel. Maybe... just a thought.
I had a feeling Rachel was a goner. Just because of the Twin peaks references and the homeless lady says "you cant save everybody" which could be a reference to Rachel and Chloe.

That being said i think we will go back to the EOW party to save Chloe again for ep5, but one of the pictures for the ep5 menu is the pic of Max in front of her photos, which she ripped up before taking a pic of the butterfly in ep1.... I'm thinking that may mean we do get the choice of letting Chloe die that day in the bathroom (the same way we had to watch William walk out the door and die in ep4). Or maybe Max jumps in front of Nathan and gets shot...? but this i think is unlikely because no matter who you sacrifice/dont sacrifice Chloe dies. We try to save William and must euthanize Chloe anyway. We sacrifice William to save Chloe from the alternative fate and she still dies... many times throughout the four episodes. Or it could be that by saving Rachel, the bathroom scene with Nathan and Chloe wont take place... like maybe saving Rachel can save Arcadia Bay from serial killers/rapists/torturers and the tornado.

That doe was standing right on Rachel's grave in ep2, when you get the option to take of pic of it but it doesnt appear in your photo. And after we discover her grave the doe shows up and disappears. But this doe is also connected to the tornado in some way, leading Max to the lighthouse in the storm where she finds the newspaper with the date of the tornado.

Just my random opinions after replaying ep4 and reading through these threads :-)

(btw anyone know where the last picture is? the skeleton with the skateboard?)

The last pic is when you are at the Votes Club party on the bathroom, turn around left and you see Justin and the bottom of a sceleton as grafiti, just line up both.

Also I don't think Chloe "needs" to die, the moon disapperead before she was dead. I actually think Max went back in time and as soon as the moon disapperead Max had corrected the timeline

THANKS! I was killing myself trying to find that!

And that's an interesting idea i hadnt thought of it that way... So many chances for Chloe to die just gets me thinking it's supposed to happen, ya know? I really hope not though! I was thinking that because you see the two moons before going into the party and while in the party, then as soon as they get "Nathan's" text and they decide to go check out the grave the next scene is the moon disappearing. But your idea is definitely more appealing to the heart strings! :-)
(or maybe that is Jefferson texting on Nathan's phone? just kind of fishy how nobody's seen Nathan and then he texts Chloe with a criptic message about destroying evidence, and you know the rest).

Episode 5 is gonna be amazing i think!
Obeisant Jul 29, 2015 @ 8:56am
It wasn't Nathan for sure. He wasn't around the junkyard either olny J. Something might happened to Nathan too. Maybe Jefferson did take care of him because he left all the evidences

There's a page in Max's journal where she considers fate and if Chloe was meant to die in the girls' toilets. She is then very strongly of the opinion that Chloe wasn't meant to die because then her power would be pointless. The fact that the dev's put that in her journal, the strong denial of fate and destiny, would make me really disappointed if they then go 'Actually, yeah, you can't change things.' Max shouldn't give up with in the space of a day or two of having had that opinion.

The thing is though right now Max is at the Dark Room duck taped and ready to be injected with a lethal dose of that drug we saw Jefferson put in the syringe. So until she gets out of that little problem she won't have any chance of saving Chloe and by then the tornado will likely come and who the hell knows where that photo is when the wind is destroying the town?
