You shouldn't tell people. They would figure it out. It's the joy of playing a game to figure it out. I'm not saying never help. This is part what makes a game so fun.
I'm making it an exception since in some cases like me I couldn't even load into the game to play the episode. That way only works if you got yourself on the vortex club list.. Some people who rushed through the game didn't do that.
I couldn't get into Vortex VIP section. The game won't leave you hanging. Usually there will be some way. I don't mean to sound like a jerk saying you should let them figure it out. Isn't that the fun in the game. Not everything is cut and dry, you have to figure out a way to bypass what's in your path.
Normally I would agree with you, but todayI don't. I spent an hour figuring out the start up sound problem. That bug would have stopped me from playing the game all together tonight, if a user did speak up and give me a place to start so I could play the game. I'm just returning the favor, there's this thing called Karma and I believe in it. Besides when people have made it to the party they've already made it past the hardest part (piecing together the murder board). The episode is pretty much over and they now have to deal with the ending. You're not being a jerk, think a little lower.
Perhaps in another circumstance I would would agree with you, however after staying up for the game to be released and after spending over an hour stuck in the party without a visible way of getting into the VIP, it got rather frustrating. When you're frustrated you can't really enjoy the game, so asking for guidance was necessary (in my case) for progression to the end of the episode.
Walkthroughs exist after all, and the fact that they exist shows that sometimes people need a little help
True, perhaps you have a point. I was very proud that somehow I managed to get through all the little puzzles without ANY help. I'm usually the first to ask for help and if it;s really as diffcult as you say. Then I suppose it won;t do any harm.
Dude it took me like an hour to figure this part out.
Exactly. It wasn't easy for me either. I figured it out. It's a video game. I explored. I ttested. I looked for clues. Their is only so much you can do. I mean not like this game is hard. They would figure it out sooner or later. I played it without any help. I somhoe got passed it. I'm no where near elite.
It's sm\\amazing what you can do when you just do instead asking before even try. You can literally walk up the VIP and go inside. You tell me people didn't figure that out or was too hard.
