OKAY bcause i saw that and i was like, "oh i gotta move the couch" but the game wont let me investigate anything near the couch so im restarting it to see if that helps

I just did it and i've just look at the scratch at the floor, then i moved the sofa and behind it there is a phone stick to the back of the sofa .

do you have to look at the scratches at a weird angle or something bcause no matter what i do i dont get the option to investigate them or move the couch or anything

I'm not getting the option to examine the scratch marks either. I'm in the process of re-downloading the episode, hopefully that fixes it.

Firstly i just examine everything what i could do, then at the end i looked at the scratch. Maybe that the way you have to do it :/

first examine the scratch marks and then focus on the couch. it should give you another option to move it

I think you have to look at the computer first before you can look at the scratches.

Re-download seems to have sorted it! I think you at least need to go on Nathan's computer before the scratch marks are examinable but something went wrong in yours and mines download of the episode. Just redownload it, examine the PC and it should work for you!

EDIT: Apparently after more digging, you need to have the projector display his PC and not his screensaver, otherwise you won't have enough light to see the scratch marks... well, that saves you another download i guess, haha.

How can I get the projector to display the PC? I tried to read through email but when exit, it was back to screensaver.

I had the same investigation 'bug' and found out what order you have to do it.


- Use the computer so that it goes out of screensaver.
- Examine the couch.

After that you can undo using the computer so that it's back to the screensaver if you want (I don't know if this affects the gameplay/storyline). This is likely a logic-error.
