Would be a plot twist if it turns out that Chloe murdered Rachel, and after that, went into a trauma state where she denies to herself that she did it and acts like she is hellbent to "find" Rachel, as a way to cope with her own regret and denial.
It would be surprising if it turns out Joyce killed William and faked a car accident and is manipulating David into doing terrible things at the Blackwell academy and David is using Nathan for help with that.
Now, Jefferson, Warren, Samuel as the "surprise" villains? Get out of here.
Because we BARELY interact with him.
A great surprise and plot twist would be a character that you believe you know very well, then it turns out you don't know ♥♥♥♥.

Samuel is the cliche bad guy that seems mild mannered but has that terrible evil streak, did you ask him why he had pictures of Rachel? He lets a little bit of his "bad" side show when you ask him about the pics.
Jefferson is the self centered famous dude who thinks no one can touch him because he is famous and fabulous, "I know you love me but if you are not in this class then beat it!" When Max relates that perhaps Kate and Rachel's fates are intertwined he says, "Rachel was nothing like Kate", as in he knows Rachel is dead other wise he would not say "was". Also he basically admits right there that he had a relationship with Rachel by saying he knows she was nothing like Kate, how does he know unless he really does know her intimately?
So yeah I stand my saying they are obvious bad guys in the story..too obvious for Dontnod to use them, but I could be wrong of course.
If it turns out that Jefferson is really the man, he's also not exactly a genius. Even someone who isn't very smart feels uncomfortable hinting at something that he is trying to hide. But not Jefferson, he apparently displays hints about what he does to girls around campus and in basically every single one of his works.
Then it turns out he abused a girl on stupor and it's one of his OWN students, not some random woman on the street, but a girl who attends his class and he used the help of another one of his students, who also attends his classes.
Damn. If that's all true, then at least we can say that he's got some balls.
The game tries to suggest him as one of the culprits all the time. I sincerely don't understand why people seem to think they are smart for figuring this out...
They placed him, Nathan and David in the Principal's office as options for Max to point her fingers at, so that in the player's head, the options will narrow down to these three men.
There isn't a better reason for Jefferson to even be in the principal's room and be an option for Max to blame. He is ONE of Kate's teachers, she has other classes with other teachers. But it's Jefferson who has to be there and even if he is because Kate was his helper, why can you even blame him for Kate's suicide attempt?
David was stalking and taking pictures of her and Nathan was obviously the one who at the very least provided the GHB to dope her, but nope, Max thinks it was Jefferson.
And the girl on that youtube channel, she is smart, she is trying to think like the developers, but she clearly plays favorites and I dunno... Something's up with her, I can't really tell exactly what.
I take it you meant me by that?
I think Geek Remix did a little more than just say 'He dunnit!' Her theory is air-tight, IMHO. But she herself makes every reservation therein, saying it's not based on facts.
And Max is right. :) David is completely innocent. His thing is drugs, primarily (out of concern for Chloe, really). He suffers from PTSD, and has a pretty linear mind. In his files, with a picture of Kate, we find him say something to the effect of (not verbatim, not in-game right now):
"I questioned Kate about drugs at the party. She got all evasive and nervous. Guilty."
LOL. He has no clue, and isn't 'in' on anything either. The Principle, Wells, probably is (kinda has to be). But from his early convo with David ("Please, leave Ms. Caulfield alone, and kill that alarm, which is your job."), you can clearly tell the two aren't co-conspiring on anything together.
Ah, I really *do* like her a lot. :) So smart!
Hahahaha! No way! :) I try and be a super-sleuth too, LOL, but I didn't even notice Warren was wearing 2 different shirts in that vid. :P I just like her cuz she's such a smart cookie, and comes up with these awesome theories.
I like those girls too. I'm watching their play through of The Last of Us. Never played the game and people say so many great things about it's story that I decided to check it out. And the two girls while playing the game are also very funny. Check their reaction to shooting people in-game with a .12 caliber, it's like they just can't get enough of it.
I want to play that game on the PC not console.
Hehe, the duo is often hilarious. :) Like when Max finds that photo in Warren's locker, and says something like: "Looks like he used Mr. Jefferson's lab to develop it. But why?!" And then Geek Remix et. al are like "OH, C'MON, MAX, YOU KNOW WHY!!"
