She didn't literally 'lock' the door: she just blocked it with her own presence ('locking in', in generic speech, just means 'keeping someone from leaving (a room/building/etc)'.

Didn't look like it, it look like she was locked in. She kept turning and twisting the doorknob and it sounded lock. And Juliet wasn't blocking the door. Go to her room, the door opens up to the inside. So Juliet would block her way, but Dana would still be able to open the door simply by turning the knob and pulling it towards her.

Sorry, I would give you more credit but ever since that spirit animal incident, I mean, your logic... As Warren would say, "That makes no logical sense."

I'd need to play it again, to be sure. What happens, though, when Max can come in, after all? Does Juliet use a key to open the door?

Anyway, keep in mind the girls' room are generally just open/unlocked (like how Max just wandered into Victoria's room). I bet Juliet just took the key from the inside then, when Dana wasn't there, or was simply not watching).

Juliet opened the door for her meaning, specifically, how the door got "unlocked" was that Juliet twisted the knob and opened the door.

Victoria's room was open because Taylor and Courtney was in a rush to give Victoria her towel so they forgot to close the door.

*facepalm* Read the comments earlier. We already established that if Juliet stole Dana's key, the lock is still from the inside, allowing Dana to just unlock it, just like any other door. *Double facepalm*

thats off topic lol but it was a theory tho :3
Sorry. You seem like a nice girl, but as you can see, I always try to be logical and reasonable and I like these type of smartsy stuff. (I'm a nerd) (Yes, I know I use the non-word smartsy).

No, 'we' established nothing. You, as usual, asserted something, with an air of certitude, whilst, in reality, you're just assuming a lot.

That was rumor control: here are the facts. Dana's rooms locks from the outside as well:

Underneath the door handle, there's a clear keyhole segment. Not present on Victoria's room, btw (see bottom part of image).

All-in-all, I say you're overthinking this. It already shows an incredible attention to detail, on the Devs' part, that they would bother to paint a keyhole on Dana's door to begin with.

Yes, we established everything. I'm not assuming anything. That wasn't a rumor at all. Dana's room doesn't lock from the outside.

My door has a keyhole on the outside but I can unlock it on the inside without a key. Derp.

And because you have a door that can unlock from the inside, everybody else's door, like Dana's, must be the same right?! *roll eyes*

This. That's also how Victoria stole Max's cookies and how Nathan got in her room.

This. And Max just didn't lock the door herself, allowing Nathan and Victoria (depending on your choices). And if the doors are always generally unlock then how does Juliet lock it when Victoria or Max couldn't lock it? *Facepalm*
