I note that Warren appears to be able to take no for an answer. After he reaches the conclusion (not spoken overtly, but the subtext is pretty clear) that Max and Chloe are a couple, he seems sownhearted, but okay being relegated to friend space.

Besides if lurking around the object of your attraction automatically makes you a creep and a stalker, Shakespeare's Romeo must really be a perv....

Not to mention Charlie Brown and a certain little red-haired girl....:)
