"Hole To Another Universe" also appears on the LiS official website as background graffiti.

This "Hole to another universe"...kinda reminds me of the Cracks appearing in Doctor Who Series 6/7 (don't know for sure).
Maybe they are indeed points in time and space, where another universe touches ours. Maybe they are a reference to the Multiverse Theory. If you don't know about this, here's the brief summary:

Whenever you face a decision, a new universe is formed for the option you did NOT choose. Bacon and eggs or pancakes for breakfast? I go for pancakes, but in another universe, I might have chosen bacon and eggs. So we have to seperate universes. So, I regret the choice? I rewind time, but instantly create another universe where I don't regret it....maybe these universes do touch at some points in time and space, and there are indeed "holes to another universe"....maybe one of these holes was in the photo Max picked up at the end of Ep3, which took her to her past

I've been wondering about these too. I'm sure it's probably just some goofy and meaningless background detail. Like that's just something Chloe's been drawing all over town when she thinks about how much she wants to leave.

But... You still have to wonder if they're going to throw in some crazy portal power for the finale that makes that grafiti literal and allows us to zip back and forth between many alternate realities in some sort of massive effort to repair some sort of damage (represented as the tornado) to the fabric of all realities... or some craziness like that.

The Doctor Who comparison could be an interesting tangent for wild speculation too. Suggesting... that nobody drew any of the holes and they're actually all a manifestation of the tornado and these manifestations appear all over the place because the storm is effectively chasing Max through time and space until she can catch up to the point in time when it's actually happening.

I think the 'watching eye' represents the Doe: aka, the entity (Rachel?) observing/guiding Max. So we have 2 opposing symbols, as it were: one looking in, the other showing a portal out.

Multiverse Theorie (spoiler)
I will Make a gues here an explain why an how i came to his conclusion.

Nobody make Rachel Amber desapear, she felt in a spacio temporal distortion.

My explainations

1. In this game nothing seems to be mentioned for nohing,they like o give clues.
Wehad one proof in episode 3, when you have the choice to stole handicap funds and we all know how the third episode end.

2. They have mentioned quantic physics a cpls time in he game and the enstein theorie of relativity . For everyone who fallow progress in quanic physics, you all know that nowday multiverse is almost accepted as a real theory. Max mentioned that she is sure there is a sientific explaination to al this.

3. Why a snob club would be named The vortex club??? It would better fit a science geek club.

4. Why max discover her power at this time when arcadia bay seems mess up with some strange event like snow in summer bird dying everywhere???
I think arcadia bay is the center of the Spacio temporal distortion and max is able to controll a bit of it.

5. The alternate reality at the end of episode 3.
I dont think its just a rewind otherwise he other ppl like victoria and other student would not have change, Victoria would stay a btch and she look more gentle.
For ppl who know a bit about the multiverse theory, it say that every reality is possible in some of the universe.For example in a universe you are doctor, in an other your a police, in a other your dead, in an other you dont even exist or you can be handicaped or a more gentle person etc etc.... So chloe is handicaped in this one an her father alive, but the chloe we know still exist.


6. IMax Have said multiple time that she think everything is connected and related so they would not put us in an alternate reality for nothing.


7. Only 2 episode remain to solve the whole thing so they have to make everyhing to have a purpose otherwise we wont get an ending at the 5th episode.

Well, there's the idea that there are separate universes (mainly from string theory, but inflation theory also has a version of it, where instead of one Big Bang, you have lots of them happening, which ends up like them being separate universes, because the distances between them are so large). And there's the many worlds interpretation of Quantum Mechanics[en.m.wikipedia.org], which is the one you're interested in. The idea is that every choice produces two (or more) separate universes where the different choices are all played out. Although it only really applies on the quantum level, I don't think human decisions would affect it. That was never really taken seriously, but it's slightly more respectable now. Hugh Everett first suggested it, and he was the father of Mark 'E' Everett, the singer from Eels.

human decisions would... macro world is just micro bigger... a decision can be reduced to the electrical impulses fired in a thought but just shows how mind staggeringly many universes would be in the many worlds theory
