Twilight Zone license plate
I was thinking about the license plates in the game (TRDTCTV, TWNPKS, BRKBD, SXFNDR, etc.), and in particular, about the TWLGHTZN license plate.
As we can see during our investigation in Chloe's room, in David's clues we have the tracking of Chloe, Nathan, Mr. Jefferson and an unknown person, the Twilight Zone car owner. Probably David had tracked this car because is the same of Nathan's, but are we sure is only because of this?
Btw, searching about these plates, I realized how many things you can discover in these kind of small details. The most interesting is about Mr. Jefferson's license plate for example, TPFTHLK or Top Of The Lake, a series about the disappearance of a 12 year old pregnant girl.
But let's talk about the topic.
We can see the Twilight Zone car for the first and probably for now, the only time in the Blackwell parking.
So as a guy in a video has explained analyzing the track of every car, TWLGHTZN car owner is probably a student, professor or someone else that work in Blackwell and its house in the coordinates is really close to the junkyard.
I'm not that sure to think that this person and its car is only used for distracting us in the investigation. What do you think about?

Someone on the forum (I forget who, sorry) made a good case that it's Samuel's vehicle based on the time (~6 PM, I think) it usually leaves Blackwell every day. A teacher wouldn't stay that late, and a student would probably not leave at the exact same time every day, so it's probably a non-teacher employee. The only person who fits the bill is Samuel.

I thought the same, and now I'm not a car expert or a clever girl, but:
This seems to be a kind of expensive and fancy car, does he have all of this money for a car like that? And why David controlled Samuel? I mean he's not a great detective (maybe, or maybe we can't see the entire puzzle yet), but Samuel is a simple man, after he sweeps he paints, not that dangerous as character :D

TPFTHLK is the fancy luxury car, TWLTZN is a red truck like Nathan's. Not what I would call a fancy car, many working class people have similar vehicles. I would guess David is tracking him simply because he's a strange guy, and therefore suspicious to someone like David who is paranoid of everyone.

Mmmh ok, we have different cultures about this :)
See the op and my comment on page 10 for all of the info and evidence pointing to Samuel. http://steamcommunity.com/app/319630/discussions/0/541907867791639373/

Also Samuel really does fit the bill of the "Twilight Zone" better then anyone else in the game.

Being a fan of Twin Peaks and The Twilight Zone I knew that the devs had something going on with the license plates. Did anyone else in my position assume that 'SXFNDR' was short for 'Sex Offender'?

also wasn't 'SXFNDR' Nathan's car?

Never thought of Sex Offender, lol. It was Nathan's truck, stands for Six Feet Under. Dang, just thinking about how perfect that is... at first you think it is "Sex Offender" and that relates to Nathan supposedly drugging girls and kidnapping them. But then it turns out to be "Six Feet Under" which was a show about a DYSFUNCTIONAL(!) family and relating to death and all of the feelings and emotions that are brought up.

This made me laugh, thanks, I love that line!

David is very paranoid and doesn't understand Samuel, or thinks he's a weirdo. From his perspective it makes sense to keep an eye on someone who is so strange.

I still kinda think it is Principal Well's car

Samuel was not suspicious at all and seems like the guy who wouldn't hurt a fly. On the other hand the Principal is way more suspicious, and David probably knows that so he tracked his car.

And when we check the car with Nathan's one they seem pretty, if not totally, the same. Do you really think Nathan would drive a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheap car he uses everyday? It's probably a pretty expensive car, and a janitor wouldn't be able to support this.

Wells also stays late in school which is proofen by various cutscenes

Doesn't Wells actually live next to the dormitory?

The thing about that though is typically with Dontnod they take the character who seems like they could never be "the bad guy" and make him the bad guy, like for instance Mr. Mark Jefferson the teacher Max even kidded about in her journal that she wanted to marry him. I wonder if she wants to scratch that line out in her journal now? heh :D

Yeah, probably you're right. David is really strange as characters, as Samuel too!
