Is it possible to save the plant?
I watered the plan whenever I could but Max still texted her mom that it died. Was my watering in vain? Or did I water it too much? Did anyone's plant survive? This bothers me more than it should and I can't stop thinking about it. I want to save the plant more than I wanted to save Kate. Is it even possible or am I stuck killing the plant in each playthrough despite my best efforts? Forget Arcadia Bay, all I want to save is my plant.

You watered too much. You should have watered it once.

I drowned Lisa.

Everyone did.

Everyone.

I watered her once in the first ep. Saw text from mum about not overwatering the plant so I chose not to water it in ep 2. Lisa Lived. The game rewards those who are observant.

Some players got this message in Ep.3, that's why I drowned it :(

I have a ficus at work and i know you must water it once / week but i still did the mistake in the game. ^^
I will explain you how to save lisa
in episode one when you push the button to chek what max will say, she say at least i didnt forget you lisa, mean that the plant dont need water.so in first episode do not water the plant.
In episode 2 water he lant and in episode the plant is alive.

Your method works, as one way to save Lisa but your logic is a bit flawed. Max saying "At least I didn't forget you Lisa" Does not mean you don't have to water the pant. Your way is not the only way to save Lisa. The only thing that counts is that you Water Lisa Once, and only once, in either episode 1, or episode 2, but not both episodes.

i waterted lisa the seconed time only and she survied.
I set Lisa on fire and placed the burning leaves on Kate Marsh's body for a proper cremation. It was cool.

It turns out just because the game says you 'can' do something doesn't mean you 'should' do it. It is possible and in fact very easy to save the plant but you've been programmed by game developers to blindly take any action the game will let you 'just cause you can'. But hey, at least you can come here and have this all explained to you by folks whom barely can string together a coherant thought. Cheers!
