Are all other episodes short as episode 1?
If so, then this game is not worth the full price. Maybe I buy the rest of game on winter sale.

This game is absolutely worth full price. There is lots of DLC out there for AAA games and they often give you way less hours of gameplay even if all episodes of LiS were the same length (which they aren't).

This game is worth the price, i can assure you, the story is awesome, in my opinion, a story can be short, but be awesome and it will still be worth the price.

If you just want a game to last 100s of hours, you should look at the Mass Effect Trilogy available on Origin, that trilogy lasts a long time if you do everything and explore everywhere.

When it comes to Adventure games like LiS, i tend to get bored of it, but this game has one of the best stories ever made so far, now if they can get the ending to be just as awesome as the story itself, then it will be the best game EVER made....in my opinion.

Episode 1 could have been really summed up in 20 minutes if you dont go looking around the useless stuff around. I just want to know if other episdoes are any longer than this?
Connor Sep 24, 2015 @ 2:26pm
ep.4 is way longer than the others ,even if you rush like hell through the main story it would take you sure at least 2hours and half to complete
ep.2 and 3 just have a normal lenght

I'd say each of the episodes are 1.5-2.5 hours depending how thourough you are with the conversations and rewind mechanism and which chapter it is. Bringing this game to a pretty decent 10+ hours of awesome story if the last chapter follows the pattern, easily worth 20€

They're episodes which cost 5 bucks a peice, and the whole game a measly $20. Exactly how long are you expecting them to be?

I've put in 3.5 hours and not even halfway through ep 1 myself, but even if you played barely one hour for each you are still getting your money's worth. not that Playtime alone can ever be the whole measure of value.

each episode is roughly 2 hours
2 hours x 5 = 10 hours
general AAA SP shooter = 6-8 hours for 50€.

Please.

I think he is talking about just doing the bare minimum to complete the game....i don't recommend it though, the choices matter in this game.
[Q]uik Sep 24, 2015 @ 3:23pm
doing the bare minimum will still land you on a roughly 8-10 hours gametime though total

Outcome wise, assuming our choices change how the game ends (which i hope that is the case) then doing the bare minimum might not give you the best outcome.

That stuff isn't "useless". It sets the tone, creates atmosphere and gives clues. You are playing it wrong. :P

I think this person has that playstyle where if this was an RPG with a story, but with 100s of hours of side quests, he would only do the story and then complain about how short it is....like some players do.

Every episode took me 2-3 hours to complete. Which is longer per episode than most other episodic games I've played, which usually have an hour per episode.
It took me thirty minutes to walk from Jefferson's room to the bathroom the first time in episode one.

Took me 2 -3 hours to finish an episode too. Episode 4 felt a bit longer (maybe 3 1/2 hours), Not to mention that LiS is a game you should play definitely more than once. So that makes a total of around 8 - 12 hours for one playthrough of just episodes 1 - 4. Add upcoming episode 5 and you should have a total gametime of at least 10 - 15 hours for one complete playthrough of all episodes.

Where I live LiS costs around €20 on Steam [all 5 episodes]. That's less than half the price of an AAA title. €20 for 10 - 15 hours gametime sounds like a fair price to me.

You can run through all 4 episodes in like 10 hours, but who the hell play games like this in that way? :steamfacepalm:
Remy Sep 24, 2015 @ 11:40pm
You won't get much from the game just doing the objectives, you gotta really invest and immerse yourself in the world. It takes around 2-3 Hours for Episodes 1-3, Episode 4 took me around 5 hours, add to that the game has different decisions so you can keep replaying it. And each episode is only like $5, way more worth than games that cut substantial content like Destiny.
