i wonder what is he doing with that doll
crazy ape mofo
It's true, it's a nightmare version of Warren. Here's the thing, thought: There's been a lot of people who were critical of Warren to begin with, and THAT is why. ''But that's not real'', you might say, but that's not 100% true. The nightmare is an exagerated version of him, but many people saw that side of him in the real world as well. His real-life locker does have this photoshopped picture of them* after all, that's creepy too. Just not AS bad as the nightmare version.
*Now that I think about that: What would have happened if Max used that photoshopped picture to time-travel? :p
You definitely got the right idea here. I back this up.

The locker is in Max's nightmar, EP5.
I thought the question was referring to this comment:
You can find his real locker as well in episode 3 and it has a picture of him and Max that looks unnatural from the positioning and relative sizes of their faces. It looks like two separate pictures from elsewhere in the game pasted together. It's possible that Dontnod recycled existing images to make it and it wasn't intentional that it would look like a dodgy 'shop but the end result was a lot of people accused Warren of making a creepy photoshopped picture. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the community team relayed those suspicions to the creative team who may have used that as inspiration for the nightmare version of his locker.
