I feel like PriceField is a little forced.
Before I get people yelling at me over this. I just feel like the devs even enforced it. And most people went with it. Me I find it a little unappealing for a book or game to enforce a certain opinion upon the community. Which is why I kind of prefer GrahamField.

The game gives you a choice, so I can't really say it is forced.

Sure it does... But I dunno I get a vibe that I am supposed to drop dead everytime I see Chloe. And when I see Warren I am supposed to go... "Oh god... It's Warren..."

Oh, thanks :D

It's the story they want to tell, and people like it so much because it's done well. If it was done poorly, you bet people are going to be displeased. If anything, Grahamfield was out of place.

Some of the cut dialogue is incredibly forced and doesn't fit the vibe the game provides. They were very good at leaving it ambiguous enough for the player to assume a sexual attraction if they chose to or not. Having sided with Chloe in almost everything, even kissing her, I didn't assume they were an item. Just very, very close friends. Friends that transcended most friendships. It felt like more of a spiritual attraction than a sexual one.

There's a term that escapes me given to people who don't have a designated sexuality until they are with someone they connect to on an emotional/mental level. Maybe it's possible that's what Max is.

When a book does it? Really? Did you think Romeo and Juliet was forced because there was no option to ship Juliet and Mercutio? The writer chooses the story they want to write. You should be glad it wasn't more obvious if you don't like it.

That's probably why those lines weren't used.

Fluid? That's how Ashly Burch described Chloe.
No it's not fluid. It's a type of sexuality where you are attracted primarily to the mind regardless of sex attached to it. It might be Sapiosexual that I'm thinking of.

Regardless, these types of strong spiritual relationships would eventually give out to more sexual attractions, provided you picked the Sacrifice AB ending.

The sexual attraction among sapiosexuals is the eye to eye level the two of them share. I don't think it's about the genetic makeup of their sexuality. Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter for example would be a perfect example. Both of them are straight, yet as the show progresses, the two of them reach a state of attraction that becomes rather questionable as time goes on. They see eachother so clearly and understand everything about one another that the two of them kind of synchronize.

Of course I don't know enough about it to say if orientation plays a role in this at all but the claim is that they only start to develop sexual feelings after a prolonged period of understanding eachother.

Come to think of it, did the story mention if Max has had any relationships before coming back to Arcadia Bay?

Max mentioned that she was never good around boys, nor mentioned that she was ever in a relationship, so probably an implied "no".

To those creeps who want Chloe and Max to kiss.
