Can I ask someone with the final Max/Chloe kiss scene if you can upload your save file ?
I did so many think and I want to see what pattern did you choose from the start until the end and compare it with mine !
Thanks !
Of course, if you DO RP the way that Max loves Chloe there is really no reason to kiss the W anyways.
I took the blame for the weed
I answered Kate's phonecall.
I didn't shoot Frank in the junkyard.
I kissed Chloe in her bedroom.
I sided with Chloe against David.
I DID NOT help Chloe commit suicide in the parallel reality.
I kissed Warren in the diner
I sacrificed Chloe
Remember, doing 3 out of 4 early choices (taking the blame, not answering Kate, shooting Frank, stealing money) will cause Chloe to change the photo on her phone to Max instead of Rachel, so this really is just ONE factor. I only did 2 of these, so DIDN'T get this.
- Kissing Chloe in her room seems like a no-brainer - DO IT! (I did)
- Siding with Chloe against David is another positive factor. (I did)
- I doubt euthanising Chloe makes a difference, as it's a different timeline, but I did anyway.
I haven't really investigated the Warren situation. I accepted his offer to Go Ape but only hugged him in the diner (I thought that kiss was pretty feeble anyway!)
The developers deliberately didn't have Max and Chloe share a "big damn kiss" if you choose to keep her alive at the end, as I bet everyone would decide to do that if they had put it in.
It wouldn't make a difference to how Chloe feels about Max but it could be a measure of how Max feels about Chloe but I also doubt it makes any difference as if I was in Dontnod's position there is no way I'd be going anywhere near making a statement about which of those choices means Max loves her more. Nope. Not touching that topic with a ten foot pole. Make your choice, justify it to yourself, I'm not going to pass judgement on what's 'best'.
Well, for what ending did you go? The kiss only happens in the "Sacrifice Chloe" ending.
Because its pretty much a goodbye kiss and the last chance for Max to express her feelings before Chloe is gone forever.
In the other ending they have their whole life together ahead of them, so plenty of time to kiss later.
Even the devs said so.
gz... you've picked most boring options I think
I would agree with you, but I think there's more too it than that. If you watch Emma Blackery's playthrough then she still gets the kiss at the end but she doesn't try to shoot frank and answers the call from Kate in the diner. That's already two out of the four things she hasn't done so I don't really get it??
