I will not tell why exactly since I do not want to spoiler, but if you havent played episode 5 as of yet do not do (dont even buy it).

I wish I could go back in time and tell myself this....

Never seen something as destructive as this. I mean The game was for me a 9-10 the first 4 episodes. Now after Episode 5 I would give it as a whole maybe a 4 (out of 10).


It would be the same if in Harry Potter 7 Harry becomes Voldemords Lover and joins him and than we can read 500 pages about how they paint their walls.

I really am pissed that no body warned me about this...

I have seen bad endings before.
I have seen scenes with bad gameplay before.
I have seen unneeded scenes before.
I have seen effort being useless before.

But I never seen someone trying to achieve this 4 things together sooo hard in just 1 chapter...

Let's agree to disagree. Yes the ending is not the greatest although I tend to think it's partially intended and the nightmare scene is strongly criticized, but I liked the episode overall, particularly the non-sneaking part of the nightmare and the 150-ways-to-get-david-killed scene.
I would rate the game 9/10, because of the lacking ending and sub-par graphics (let's face it, some details are pwetty and the out-of-focus blur works really well, but most of the game is on a graphical level of a 2010 PS3 game and optimization is horrible).

The ♥♥♥♥ you on bro? The game is good, including Ep 5, excluding some elements. Even the endings, despite being strongly criticized, aren't half as bad as you can make out of these forums. Lacking, but not that bad.

So you didn't like it? Boo hoo, go cry. I do not regret playing through Ep. 5.

Sacrifice chloe was the option i chose, and I'm really happy I did. Cried like a lil btch and all.
I later on watched the other ending which was really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ horrible.
I feel bad for you who chose the "bad" ending.

The ending is horrible. They promised my choice would have consequences but at the end only the final choice mattered. I expected more from this game, as it is a 'story-based' adventure.

ME 3 original ending was FAR, FAR worse than episode 5 of LiS (who am I kidding, the "fixed" one is horrible too). It´s just that one of the endings is a mindbreaking timeloop and another one is underdeveloped (one I picked), as if the devs were afraid to accept that outcome themselves. :)

It would really take only fairly minor edits to set the endings to suitable state. Nightmare section has some filler too, so I`d take some scissors to it as well. However, episode 5 also has some good scenes in it too. It´s not a total writeoff.
