So how did kate escape the dark room?
Did I miss something? In the dark room when they are talking about Kate, theres no explaination on how she lost her memory after she escaped, how she even escaped in the first place.

So she had faith, how did this allow her to escape?
And how did she loose her memory after escaping? Did the drug's effect take place after escaping? Did Jefferson let her go? I am confused, someone explain.

Jefferson doesn't intend to kill, he just doses them enough to not remember and puts them back. I think the mention of her faith is Max trying to taunt Jefferson by saying that he didn't manage to break Kate, he failed in his goal of capturing that moment of despair because Kate's faith was too strong and she didn't break.

I thought so as well until he definitely intended to kill Max. I guess he wouldn't kill the girls that were dosed enough to never recognize him, like Kate, who wouldn't remember a thing afterwards. But since Max woke up in the mid of the shoot and was actively talking to him, there was no way he could let her go.

Yeah. Well Max knew WAY too much before hand. Anyone who knew where Rachel was buried would have to go.
