It's very easy to consciously disassociate these things though. At least it is for me, I can't say I've ever held a stigmatized view on people with tattoos (or whatever else), even before I was interested in them.
But I was also born in the early nineties, and it's becoming more common now. Such views are outdated, and will probably fade away in enough time. I can only hope that people educate themselves on the subject for now. lol
Oh, BTW, why is she bug-eyed? You're a real winner buddy
1. Yes, I do think I'll care in 5-10 years. lol, next question?
2. Then I'll be over 60 and have a tattoo...? Your arm will look just as gnarly and wrinkly as mine, maybe worse. Sure the tattoo might not look as great by then as it does now, but it'll definitely look better than the rest of the saggy old people arms. And if I'm over 60, I'm definitely going to be beyond caring anyway. lol, it'll basically just be a part of my skin by then, something that's just always been there, like it will literally have been there longer than not.
3. I kind of despise kids, like... Alot; so I don't really plan on having any. If I do somehow end up with kids, I don't really need to explain my decisions, let alone to children. And hopefully if I do my job right, my kids would also love videogames and be able to appreciate the sentiment when they're older and more intelligent.
Sorry for such a long answer, I know all this was like "duh" and completely obvious, but I spelt it out anyway.
I do appreciate the input on the aesthetics though! As far as the eyes go, it's an illusion I think, because of how her face wraps around my arm (it's not a flat surface). So it changes based on how my arm is situated.
Back on topic, cool tat dude. I see Max and Chloe represented, I kind of expected to see a bunny there somewhere, as they're usually linked with Kate.

now imagine tattooing that ♥♥♥♥ on ur forehead
Seriously, some of you guys brought up some legit points about tattoos and all, but for ♥♥♥♥ sake, they are so irrevelant at the same time IMO. They could be somewhat helpful if that guy was just planning on getting one, sure. But right now, after tattoo is done? It's just pretty pointless if you ask me.
or be like
"look at me i have tattoo i don't know about you but me i'm important
I'M SO GOREGEOUS"
Also, well done on your handling of hate comments )
Oh, I got tons of great feedback on twitter, Instagram and even reddit. But Steam will be steam, I even said as much in the OP, (and I don't have a tumblr acc). But I shared it anyway.
It's kind of fun responding to the negative comments though, lol.
As for symbolism, I had SO many words in mind and on paper, bunny, tea, angel wings, etc. But my arm only had so much real estate, so the Kate symbolism was sort of curbed because she was the main focus. :3 we did manage to sneak the angel wings onto the title polaroid, replacing the tape.
Shhhhh, you might intimidate them with your large brain! Wouldn't want to spook em' off.
lol, but thanks for sharing that art dude, the big dipper in Max's face made me chuckle. 420/10! Certified "dank".
Ah, thanks! I didn't do anything special though. lol. I'll definitely see the artist again for any future tattoo, that's for sure!
As far as hate comments, they're all just parroting other people here, as well as repeating basically all the other "arguments" or negativity in regards to all tattoos in general.
But it's cool that you liked the art!
OK, now read this response reeeeeeeeeal slow. You're a fool if you think that what you do as a teen/twenty something (whatever you are) will still be a good idea when you're in your thirties or older. Ask some older people that you know about what they regret that they did when they were young and had no sense. That tattoo is going to look like ass when you get older and nobody will even know or care what it is. Even the people that do recognize it will just think you're a tool or a moron. Either way, that's on you buddy
They got it done for themselves, who cares what others will think of it in the future? Even then, why would they want to associate with people like that anyway? The tattoo isn't something I would get for myself personally, but I wouldn't be shallow enough for it to affect my opinion on a friend or family member who got something like this.
All the stuff they regret usually involves alcohol or drugs, or both. lol, I still love all the games I enjoyed 10 years ago, and I don't see any difference in the future. Also, my uncle has tattoos that still look fine, and he got them in his 20's, he's in his late 50's, doesn't regret them either.
As far as it looking terrible, it will look fantastic for far longer than it will look bad. I know how to take care of tattoos, and have friends with tattoos that are 5+ years old that look brand new.
So that's quite the genius argument you have there, friend.
But I'm clearly just wasting my time, I see that you're actually just a literal brick wall. Quite the disguise you have there.
