I've had some pretty dark experiences in my past, and as a result I'm generally not an emotional person. In many ways that part of me is usually cut off. For a game experience to have woken that....that really says something.
it's the same for me
And playing again is a good thing, btw. You'll see lots of small details that you missed, and notice so many new things about the characters now that you know the whole story. You don't even have to make different choices and it will still be worth it.
In all likelihood I may end up playing again, but it will be a while.
I can't seem to enjoy other games well after playing LIS. Its all I think about since I finished month ago. Playing it again is awesome but the first time is always most spectacular.
It's been what, two months now?
I still feel empty.
If you ask me when was the last time I cried before this game I couldn't answer because I just don't remember.
This game will ♥♥♥♥ your feelings and you won't want it to stop.
Game of the century.
So I got my hours replaying those first episodes over and over again because each time I did I would notice something new and either add to my current theory or come up with an entirely new one. Then I would post it and the debate would begin.
My theory had Sean Prescott as the guy behind it all and he was doing it because he had found out that a female student at Blackwell always carried the time powers that Max has in the game. The girl before Max was Rachel Amber and when she died the powers transferred to Max.
The theory was that Sean Prescott needed a professional photographer to be able to take the right picture that would allow the transfer of the powers from the girl who currently had them to his own son Nathan Prescott. The picture had to be taken at the exact moment the current girl with the powers died and it involved Cross Polarization Photography. So that is why Sean Prescott had Mark Jefferson hired at Blackwell because he needed him to take the right photograph.
Anyway I won't go into it because we all know how it turned out and it is nothing like that, but I wanted to talk about it a bit to show what we were all experiencing back then when the conclusion to this masterpiece was not known.
This forum is still very good but back then it was indeed a magical place and it is rare to find a community like the one we had when we were all speculating on the outcome of this masterpiece story that is Life is Strange....
I need to play LiS more xD, just a day or two without it feels like torture
I kinda wish I had been part of this magical theory ride with LiS :(. Instead I was with the MGSV's 3 years of painful waiting party with loads of theories too ;). It was one hell of a ride there and MGSV didn't end as I hoped at all. We had such a long time to come up with theories, that some guessed the ending. So it sort of removed the epic feel of it, instead of having being surprised by it. But it was really special to be part of those debates and fun to guess what will happen etc. Fans can come up with some of the craziest stuff, I loved it.
This is one of the reasons I waited for all the episodes to be released, and why I avoided all feedback until I had played the game in its entirety. I'm glad I did.
