Any similarities to The Last of Us?
Before I begin, I know the settings are completely different. I was just wondering if there were any similarities between both games, as I've recently completed TLoU and the story was absolutely mesmerizing. No other game's story has some close, and there were even moments that I shed a tear. I'm looking to fill the emotional hole that that masterpiece of a game left me.

Something with a gripping story, likeable characters, and I'm not afraid of sad moments, or even a sad ending. TLoU's ending came as a shock to many people, and I loved it.

If there's a TLoU-2, I hope that Ellie takes Joel to task over it. I understand why he did what he did and if it were me, I would've done the same.

LiS starts out good, but then becomes rather farfetched and silly. Now that it is complete, all I can advise is to buy it on a sale.
I think you will enjoy this. MGS3, MGS4, TLOU and FF7-9 are some of my favorite games with emotional moments and with good characters+story, this is right there amongst them. Also LiS is so much cheaper which is crazy,

I was totally fascinated by this game during first playthrough all the way to end and you really feel for the characters. It's the best game I've played in years because of the huge amount of feels and sad moments it give me.
So in that way it is similar.

Anyway, I obviously love LiS so I'd tell everyone to play this, but it's good to listen what others say too.

I never played The Last of Us, so I cant answer if they are similar. But if you want a gripping story, likable characters and sad moments go ahead and buy LiS.

hahaha. Does Life is Strange have feels he asks.

Ask that question again when you're in a ball on the floor. ;)

Definitely has likeable characters, lots of suspense, SO MANY FEELS, a good story, amazing atmosphere, and incredible music.

I envy those who have yet to play LiS for the first time.

Honestly, it sounds like LiS would be right up your alley. Get it and play it.
