Copyrighted Music

I was thinking of doing a play-through of Life is Strange because who doesn't love Life is Strange?
The music in the game is all copyrighted. is there a copyright-free version/streamer version?

Unfortunately the original release is from before companies started adding stream friendly modes into games.

its only really been a thing for the series since Life Is Strange 2. LIS2 & True Colours support such an option but it is sadly a bit of a mixed thing. They didn't make any attempt to replace anything with copyright free music and the copyrighted music is replaced with silence. Which just makes the scenes either odd, creepy or fairly ridiculous such as the scene in True Colours which features Alex and Gabe playing air guitar to no music.

There could be an option in Before the Storm as i can't recall checking and i streamed it at a point when Twitch had less issues with DMCA. That said I streamed True Colours with the music on and had zero issues.

The remastered versions are releasing next year which might feature such support.

Yeah the copyrights are worst .. it´s one of the major things that drives me away from watching Life is Strange playthroughs since music is really essential there and just seeing some moments with silence is just so meh .. i mean older videos from 2015 are still having the music but newcomers have no chance on YT with that

Best example for this was probably Life is Strange True Colours when you see dad & brother fighting and there should be a beautiful song from Dido

lol :D I even brought the NEW remastered version of Life is Strange because in all of the trailers when i saw it looked like it had better graphics and more modern looking game. Even with a fresh new release it still doesn't come with updated music for any players who who would buy that game hoping for copyright-free soundtrack modes. Don't be fooled by the modern graphics of the remastered version its just the same game with slightly better graphics THAT'S IT!
