Well this is bascially based on the theory of "what happens if rachel didnt die?" And therefore there was a reality proving of this theory.
...your misunderstanding of what homeroom backrow/Crystalize/junglepissplate response means (actually tells and presents.).
Check out another post for easier understanding:

What is homeroom backrow? I'm so confused.
That body wouldn't be there if rachel didnt die.
Also, the comics can’t really confirm anything, because they’re not considered canon to the games, they’re their own thing. It’s basically glorified fanfiction.
Yeah I do need to read the comics but I would need some clarification of source if the developers or anyone from the game confirm the comics is cannon or not but let's be honest it's not. It is just a "what if?" Kind of comic and this just confirms alot of my thoughts.
The actual writer of the comics herself stated that:
Source - https://twitter.com/Emmavieceli/status/1060208929622446080
Thank you for giving the source it helps alot : ))
Going to have to say you don't you need to read them. They are glorified fanfiction with okay art.
I didn't know that but then again the only other comics I see relating to were games are either chole + Max, chole + amber, steph + Alex but never ryan with alex so that makes sense.
