Do original Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm still go on sale?

I know about a remaster and to be blunt I find it pointless. I also prefer original Chloe voice. I simply want original version of the game, but I don't see it going on sales and frankly it is not worth, especially when you consider similar game like The Council is around 3-4 euroes, DOOM with high budget from 2016 is 5 euroes, or Witcher 3 from same year and extremely high budget and content with all expansions is 10 euroes. Paying for the original or remaster 20 euroes is unacceptable. It wasn't on sale during summer and autumn sales, but now during winter sales it makes me wonder is this intentional, or there is some explanation from this ridiculous and shameful behavior.

I am sometimes amazed at developers/publishers how much they are willing to shoot themselves in their foot to the point of making literally the best argument for piracy. It always brings me back to this video. Still nothing tops Ubisoft.

Yeahh, hoping of a sale on the original too. I already played before the storm and now wanted to catch up on LiS itself on the steam deck. Reading what a buggy mess the remaster is, I don't see myself buying this. Hope Square Enix will discount the original at some point again. Key resellers seem to be out of stock on the original too.

If not, I bought it several times on ipad, android and xbox - and will just suffer through it on one of those platforms if it is never on sale again here.

Square-Enix is overly mercenary. The FF Pixel remasters are eventually getting a console release and its an overpriced game. The CEO's new year statement reiterated their intention to invest in the blockchain and lets not ignore they sold off the majority of their non-Japanese holdings to fund crypto investments not long before that market mostly crashed.

Chloe has her original voice in the remaster though its only Before the Storm where she was voiced by a different actress.
