Do I own episodes 2-5?
Life is Strange is in my Steam library, but I don't really remember the details of the purchase at the moment. How can I determine if I own the entire game or just the first episode? The game's properties don't seem to have a DLC tab the way some do.

Thanks

If you click on the game in the library and look above the news, the episodes should be there

Is that only true after the game has been installed? I see the title, the install button, the greyed out achievements, and the news, but nothing else. It's a 5.5 hour download on my 1mb/s DSL, and I don't think I will bother if it's just episode one.

Thanks

Going into my account details through the web interface and viewing activated license history showed "Life Is Strange Episode 1" from December of last year. That corresponds with its inclusion in a Humble Bundle, so I'm sure that's what it is and where it came from. Gosh, they should make it a lot easier to tell! One more reason to hate serial games, I guess.

Thanks again.

The other episodes in one bundle are on special at the moment, until July 5th, if you're interested

It should list each episode as "DLC" in the games tab

I was in the same position. I launched the game and played through Episode 1 (I got it in a Humble Bundle a while back). After I completed it, it asked me to buy the next epsiodes (and I did!)

But yeah, it lists each episode as DLC on the Library page. If you don't see it, you don't own them.

Sorry for bumping, but is this still true?

I just got a key for what's supposed to be the whole season. I added it, and it said "Life is Strange Episode 1" in the key adding window. If I go to the DLC section both in my library and in the store, it only shows the director's commentary, so I don't think it considers episodes 2-5 as DLC anymore. If I go to episode 2's page, it doesn't list it as already in my library.

For what it's worth, if I go to install the game, it says it needs 2183MB.

So can I somehow determine if I got the full season, or do I actually need to play through episode 1 to figure that out?

As far as I'm aware. If you look at in in your Library with it set to list view the middle of that window should state the DLC for the game. If I look at it right now and did moments before writing this it shows episodes 2-5 and the director's commentary all which are uninstalled. The full game is about 12gb if I remember right.

Go to the Library tab in the Steam client, right click on Life is Strange > properties > DLC and it will list episodes 2-5 and whether they are installed.

Just for the record, this only works if the game is installed. I don't even have a DLC tab for this title. It's needlessly confusing, which kinda' makes it feel like a sham.

If you don't have it installed it is shown on your library page when viewed in list.
