Why all the Warren hate?
I've seen Warren called abusive/toxic/a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ a lot but I don't know why? I ship Pricefield more than Grahamfield but I don't hate Warren? What's with all the hate? Why?

As much as I love Warren, there's definite proof that he was a stalker. Throughout the game you can basically find him stalking Max. I like Warren though, I wouldn't mind being stalked by him if he was real. I guess his stalking is just his way of caring about Max.

Right? The poor guy is helping you at his own risk, he deserves a statue.

I do recall him looking through a window at Max, but that was to wait for her? When else did he stalk her?

I can't remember directly but I have seen several posts about things he's done.

Well, the problem i have with Warren is his obsession with Max. She is clearly uncomfortable with his advances if you read her diary entrys and a lot of his behaviour is stalkerish.
He knows more about Max facebook page then herself, he constantly is hitting on her even if it makes her uncomfortable, he has no qualms to hurt the feelings of other girls like Brook to get Max and he acts very immature most of the time.
He may mean well but for me he came over as a very horny teenage boy with not much common sense in his pursuit of Max exept " i want her".
Its speaks volumes that he is one of the persons hunting Max in the nightmare stealth section in episode 5 and when you find his locker in the dream and Max sees the literal shrine he has of her she comments how incredible creepy that is.
All that shows how uncomfortable Max subconcious is with Warren and his obsession of her.
Even when Chloe comments in episode 4 how obviously he is in love with her she only sighs and basically facepalms "i know......"
That is not really a sign of endearment, more of frustration.

Also, for me personally he never clicked as a character. I just found him slightly annoying in episode 1 and it went steadily downhill from there.
Also he and Max have absolutly zero chemistry, like at all.
I dont know if its his voice actor or the script but there is nothing there.
With Chloe you have constant sparks flying and they work so well of each other.
I dont hate him, but i think the game would work better without him.

My favorite read: People who like Warren didn't get laid in High School. People who hate Warren also didn't get laid in High School, but they realize why now and are resentful towards their younger selves.

When I got my sister to play the game, she was extremely vocal about how he seriously needed to throttle back or risk ruining their friendship. When I asked her about the bit in the diner in episode 5, she said "I gave him a hug, because I do love him. And then I let him die, because Chloe is my soul mate."

Hug the man. He taught you how to make a bomb and both recieved and issued a Nathan Prescott beating. But he doesn't get any sugar.

ROFL

"Max, could you imagine us in that dark room together? I have..." ~ Warren G.
Mmmm dark room with Warren... I'd like that.

It's not that I hate him, I just think he falls under the male romantic interest which really doesn't need to be there. He was pretty generic as well, that's just my opinion though.

He's very pushy, especially with his text messages. That put me off Warren, like, immediately.

To his credit, he seems to take the hint later on, to respect Max's lack of interest and to be willing to be just a friend, so I gave him a hug. But seriously, I see nothing to recommend dating Warren.

Brooke likes Warren. Warren never talks about Brooke much. Warren talks and texts funny with Max and it comes off as creepy and geeky to me. He would look smarter if he spoke less. If I was Max I would never give the guy "whatever" he wants from me. I find it ♥♥♥♥♥♥ though, that Max remembers Warren only when she needs something done for herself. Warren is not bad at heart but the guy does not meet the minimum requirement to be accepted by Max. In Max's journal you can find her saying how she would like to date a cute guy from Rome and some other European country. Max has high hopes and dreams for her BF, etc. Warren is just plain ordinary, boring to her. Nothing can ever be triggered in her for him. But the only reason people probably hate Warren is because of his strange talk which he thinks is cool and his excited hyper speech. He comes off as "too friendzone material". I can relate to Warren in some sense, but thank God I was not like him. My girl appreciated me and liked me. <3

If you consider what role Warren was likely to play in Max's life post narrative it may change your perspective a bit. This is assuming you chose the 'good' ending and accepted his drive-in invitation. Also that note and self doubting comment about said note on Warren's room slate says a-lot about her overall view of him. At one point Max asks Chloe, at the age of eighteen, what it's like to have your 'first kiss.' She's about as driven sexually as your average monk.

Not to go to much into it but there is no "good" ending. Both endings are canon and equal according to the devs. And i cant see Max with Warren in any case, he is way to immature for her.

One of the reasons Warren and Max are a bad match and it's not surprising she does not really respond well to his obtrusions. He is always 100% on testosterone boner mode when he sees her which comes along as stalkerish. She is kind of premature and non hormonal.

I don't think Warren is on testosterone boner mode. I just think he's hella pushy. I mean, all those messages? "HEY MAX HI MAX MAX I SENT YOU AN SMS MAX WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING MAX MAX MAX ANSWER ME MAX I'M STILL HERE". Give me a break.
