Permanentely remove my Complimentary Episode 1 access to life is strange.

You giving me access to this Complimentary level is preventing me from playing any of the rest of the game despite my father sharing the game with me. The only way i can see as a fix to this is if you permanently prevent the ♥♥♥♥ from repeatedly giving me the Complimentary access despite me repeatedly removing the Complimentary access from my Licenses. Unless you find a real fix or permanently remove my Complimentary access I will be routinely pestering you to fix this or to remove this Complimentary access from everybody. It really pisses me off that you can't get your ♥♥♥♥ together and prevent this ♥♥♥♥ from occurring or fixing this ♥♥♥♥ already.

You know, you can go to the support website, log in, and remove games from your library that way. If nothing has changed.

Yep, that didn't work. Just like the couple dozen times i removed it's license from my list as soon as I go to install the game in order to get the dlc's it automatically gives me the Complimentary ♥♥♥♥. Like I said the only way I can see this working is if they permanently ban me from getting the complimentary version. Otherwise I will never be able to get past episode 1 all because steam doesn't have the option of declining the free version.

When you buy the dlcs, you gain ep 2-5. The dlcs should be on the dlclist.

Well if you don't with this game that is both new and this is the only game that would apply to. I play my father's dlcs for skyrim, borderlands, dishonored, and back in early july, before they added the free level, this game. So unless this option was changed today after 4:30 pm mountain standard time today, you are mistaken.

Can all Steam games be shared?

No, due to technical limitations, some Steam games may be unavailable for sharing.

For example, titles that require an additional third-party key, account, or a subscription in order to play cannot be shared between accounts.

DLC may not be shared if the borrower owns the base game, but doesn't own that specific DLC.

If your account has a VAC ban, you will be unable to share any VAC protected games.

Ok, i get what you're saying, however i only "own" the game due to steam giving out the first level as a free complimentary game. Before they started giving out the first level i was able to get half way through the game. Now when I'm trying to finish the game i can't because they won't stop giving me the free copy of the first level. Which is why I'm asking for them to permanently prevent me from receiving the free copy of the first level. Once they do that i will be able to finally beat the game. This game has no third party key, i never paid for any portion of this game, and i don't have a vac ban. The ONLY reason i can't play the game is because steam has decided to give everyone a copy of the first level of the game. If they add the ability to decline the offer of the free first level my problem would be entirely resolved. Unfortunately you keep replying with useless information that is completely irrelevant to my original post. Unless you have something to add that could aid in any way please stop replying to me, i don't need useless information cluttering up this thread.

A friend of mine had a very similar problem regarding trying to download one of Ark's free DLC maps when borrowing the game through sharing. Hitting download opened the game up and didn't download anything. It was fixed by logging into the account that owned Ark and downloading it that way. Try logging into your fathers account and seeing if that fixes things.

If you log into the account sharing the game, you can download all the DLC from there and then switch back.
