I am realy confused

I am confused i did start to play before the storm and that story is somewhat not conected to this story. Here is the thing

In life is strange before the stor rachel is alive and known by anyone while chloes dad are dead by a train or a truck while chloe ls dreaming wich means her dad was dead before rachels disappearance.

Then back to life is strange
While max is in her alternative timeline when chloes dad was alive how the hell can rachel still be missing and still got somewhat max number.
Cause i know somewhere in this game you have rachel in you contact list but she is ofc missing or dead. I dont get the connection.
And yes i know this is not the same game.

First off I need to know if you have completed Life is Strange as i don't want to spoil anything for you and you really SHOULD play Life is Strange before you play Before the storm or you might get mixed up. So if you can answer me the question about if you have played Life is Strange already then I can answer you, otherwise I will be telling you a vast amount of spoilers for that story.

If you played Life is Strange: Before the Storm first you are going to be quite confused, as it seems you are.

Ok then...

1) Before the Storm takes place shortly after that fateful day when Max went back and tried to help Chloe by saving her Dad, and in Before the Storm that never happened OR they went with the timeline where Max fixed her mistake of saving Chloe's dad and William IS dead in Before the Storm.

2) Rachel is missing in BOTH timelines and what that is saying to us is that Jefferson is abducting girls in both timelines not just the one where Chloe has Blue hair.

3) I am not sure why you think Rachel has Max's cell number, is that what you are trying to say? She would not and does not even know Max at all, as they NEVER met and that goes for both games. Though it has been said that the transparent doe in Life is Strange is Rachel's spirit which is trying to guide Max to discover Rachel's fate of being killed by Jefferson and Nathan. I think the doe is Rachel's spirit because in Life is Strange it is sitting on the spot where she is burried when Max and Chloe get there to discover her grave and when they find it they show her spirit disappearing which shows us that she is satisfied and then her spirit moves on to a better place. Also that doe is sitting on that spot twice in the game, the first time when you go to the junkyard with Chloe the first time for target practice when Chloe wants to test Max's powers and the second time when they discover where Rachel is burried.

Hm in one alternative timeline max has chloe with blond hair and victoria and rachel in contact list or maby i am wrong but the fun part is that she is still unknown to max. XD

And if that doe is rachels spirit animal then shes still alive in episode 2 while she is missing since that doe is not a ghost doe. Am i right?

I have never seen Max with Rachel's number anywhere in both games, you must be wrong about that...and check my profile I have well over 200 hours playtime with the original Life is Strange game so I do know it very well indeed.

Nope that is just a doe, not the spirit doe because it is not transparent. Also it is not Rachel's spirit animal and instead it is actually Rachel, that part can be quite confusing...
