Need to play episode 1 AGAIN after buying 2-5??

Hi guys, I played the free episode 1 and after that bought 2-5. Was expecting to continue with episode 2 but it appears that (after purchasing 2-5) episode 1 wasn't saved. Is this normal? I can see my previous achievements in the Steam page. Don't feel like playing episode one all over again... :( (and cannot remember every decisions I made). Hope anyone here knows the answer.

Normally one can just continue playing, but ...

If you played and finished Ep. 1, your game save files should be saved under:

C:\Users\YOUR_COMPUTER_NAME\Documents\my games\Life Is Strange\Saves\LISSave1.sav

* LISSave1 ~ 3.sav

There might be many different reasons why the game save file might be missing, most common being anti-virus products and the Windows protected folders function.

Once I finished playing Episode 1, I bought the whole game and I didn't need to replay it. I don't know why that happened to you. :(
