How do I get the tools in Chloe's Garage.

I found that the tools are on top of the washing machine and if you turn the machine on they fall on the ground under the draws but how do you actually get them?

Use newton's law

It dropped down on the floor but if you had something on the floor the key wouldn't be on the floor and ontop of it allowing you to pull the keys out.

It will get harder later on, sure you don't want to cheat through the game like 70% of all players did?

look after a cardboard piece next to the machine and choose pull and then turn on the machine and then pull out the cardboard piece and then you get the tiny tools

I swear, I kept forgetting the game's major conceit when approaching problems like this. Which is a lot like Chel forgetting how the Portal Gun works.

The cardboard thing is easy to miss even when you remember the rewind - my own instinct seeing that was to do what I'd do IRL, take the cardboard and use it as an awkward stick to fish the tools out from underneath.

The canon solution involves a bit less fidgeting and cussing.

Only because Max isn't naturally a cusser. I figure she'd turn the air blue just like the rest of us if she was so inclined.
