Beardy blokes with lumberjack shirts who live in Starbucks, ride fixies and other than coffee only drink hoppy micro-brewed craft ales?

Regarding BtS, I used to listen to a lot of shoegaze back in the day, but I find it hard to remember something that makes me feel the exact same way as Daugher does.
Still, I offer these two:
Amesœurs - Les Ruches Malades. Because it has that punkish feeling and it's about resistance to fitting in and rejecting it all, seeing poison for what it is, in an urban setting alas in my interpretation, also considering the album cover art. Also, the band name literally is "soul sisters". Is there anything more LiS than that? If you agree with the sentiment, look up their song La Reine Trayeuse.

Sólstafir - She Destroys Again. The quintessential Rachel Amber song. I imagine Chloe could wallow in her depression while listening (and perhaps pogoing, shaka brah) to this. Listen to or read the lyrics, little explanation needed, I think.

Any thoughts, my frens?
This though: really takes the cake given what I was just thinking about earlier on the BtS forum about how I think Rachel sees Chloe...
Thanks, I really did not pick them randomly, but reflected for a good while on what I knew and what matched really well. It pleases me even more that a Canadian appreciates one of the French songs. Apart from the urban implications and the language, yeah, I do think this is Chloe and Rachel's mental and musical world, and that it exudes the atmosphere of BtS, and I'm happy someone else agrees and appreciates the same.
I think we could be seeing similar layers in that passage, yes. ^^
