Butterfly photo

Just been replaying season 1, episode 1 and a thought just struck me, how the hell does Chloe know that a picture of a bucket with a butterfly on it is in the schools bathroom?

Chloe saw the butterfly in the bathroom when she was there and Max said that she took the pictures that day.

Nope, she never once looks even in the direction of the butterfly when it's on the sink after Max takes the photo ( I checked by playing the scene twice)

Chloe knew the bucket and the corner on the photo was from the bathroom.
It was the girls bathroom, a place she used herself when still enrolled at Blackwell.
You even see the bucket in "Before the Storm" when Chloe is decorating the bathroom with grafitti.
She also knew that someone pulled the fire alarm when Nathan was threatening her with the gun.
Max also said she took those pictures that day. So not that big a leap in logic to assume it was Max.

Yeah I'm sure she remembered the details of a random bucket from when she was at the school years earlier, the reason the bucket is there in BTS is because they reused a lot of the assets from LiS.

If you look at the photo there is very little detail there apart from the bucket itself and the butterfly, not enough IMO to recognise. The fire alarm could of been set off from anywhere, Chloe didn't know that it was triggered in the bathroom, if she heard the noise of the alarm being triggered then so would Nathan and he would of looked to see who was there.

I mean her being in the school at all is strange, she's an expelled student and walked right past the headmasters office to that bathroom, the same school that her stepdad patrols.

It just doesn't make a lot of sense when you think about it.

Well, the fact there is no explicit scene telling she noticed the butterfly on the sink doesn't mean she didn't noticed that detail. The sink frames were there indeed for you to know about it.

Though, technically Nathan and Chloe should have heard first the glass crashing on their shoulders before the alarm, since Max used an hammer on it. Nathan may have connected Max to that presence by the shards of the selfie, Chloe may have connected her by that butterfly detail.
