I would recommend to try and look at it this way: the choices you make during the game are very personal and shape the way you engage and interact with the characters and the story and ultimately impact how you will experience the game as a whole. You will reach the conclusion of the narrative eventually, but the way you got there will be defined by the choices you made.
They shape the narrative and may lead to different dialog or small changes to some scenes but they will not hugely impact the main story, no.
You will always end up at the same places, regardless what you do.
That is nothing bad but its the typical way those games go. Its more about shaping the characters and the tone of the story then completely changing it.
That would be expecting a bit much from a 15 bucks indie game.
Good game, this is awesome experience.
upd: and yep, answer on your qustion - it's spoiler, dude :0
The story and the characters are so well written and I can't wait to play the next episodes... the only downside is, there are only two left.
If I understood correctly... Yes, everyone is still alive.
Life is Strange is a experience, not a game
Wait 20 years, then you will see it was just a game
