She seems to know too much, too connected to the chars of the our plot
but she intentionally dosent tell us
She said "i been in the town for a thousand years"

also anyone notice she has the same box of cereal that max likes?
The dev intentionally added this chat, and intentionally drew the same type of cereal when they could have drew something eles

could it be a lost max that abused her time travel powers from a diffrent timeline but got stuck?
at one point in the game max did say she fears she would get stuck in time

I was wondering the same thing. i think the second time they meet the woman use's max's name when in dont think max ever told it to her. She might have heard elsewhere or it might be somthing else...

My other thought was that maybe she was the personification of Arcadia Bay. I think it was the Sandman series where there was a human enbodyment of the city of London. Or maybe Hellblazer. Anyway, somthnig like that.

Max uses the exact same words by the ending of the story. Max says it feels like a thousand years since she took the photo. She's what Sera is to Rachel, a black mirror of staying in Arcadia Bay.

One thing I do know is if Max tells the homeless woman about the storm she won't be there killed laying under debris when Max is trying to get into the diner in episode 5.
