[Spoilers] The Life is Strange Comic is Weird
For those who don't know, there is a licensed comic that takes place after the save Chloe ending and it rubs me off the wrong way. Nobody from the development team was involved in creating the comic. And yes I will be spoiling what we have so far so if you want to read it for yourself come back afterwards if you like.

The basic premise is Max is experiencing visions that have her kinda leap into alternative realities then snap back into her original reality. It's been a year after the save Chloe ending and the two have been invited to a memorial for the town. After Max tripping out from her visions Chloe suggests they should go back in hopes of resolving Max's and so they do.

Now I very much like this idea but my main issue is how the story represents itself. In the beginning we are introduced to these new set of characters who I don't really like from the start. They seem like stand in characters for the reader like OC characters being forced into canon. They have a band and Max is basically their photographer for their social media / website. I don't really like how they don't have much impact for the story because they're thrown away after Max and Chloe leaves and come back for a short minute just to be thrown out again from the story.

When Max and Chloe reach the diner where Chloe's mother worked, Max trips out again and when Chloe holds her hand she sees what Max sees. What they see is what would have been if the storm never happened and Chloe is alive. Their next destination was Chloe's home and this time Chloe couldn't share the same vision as Max because in this vision it's the aftermath of Chloe dying just 1 year later. They soon reach Blackwell and I kid you not, Rachel is alive in this vision / reality. Rachel knows Max but this is the first time Max herself meets her. She comments why Max and Chloe are holding hands and playfully teases she doesn't mind a 3 way. I'm more concerned why Chloe hasn't made any sort of reaction to seeing Rachel alive. She just brushes it off like nothing. After the vision Max is at her limit and passes out. The next day Max feels like her powers are really affecting her (OK Max when haven't they) so she basically leaves Chloe alone in her reality so Max can be in a reality where Rachel and Chloe are together and happy. This ends the first arc.

Rachel seems to have an online following and pursuing acting but it isn't going too well. Chloe is a mechanic and Max does what Max does best, be a photographer. Chloe shows Max and art piece she made but doesn't want to tell Rachel because she doesn't want her to feel like a failure if she found out. Max convince her she'd be happy no matter what but Rachel tells Chloe she'll be on tour with a theater play for 6 months. They go on a fit about it in front of Max that I felt like if one more thing happened I'm sure they would have broken up and that's where we are with the comic.

If you haven't guessed, the comic for some reason guilt trips the reader for choosing ether save or sacrifice Chloe endings like "look what you did, all these people died because of you. AND then there's you, the person who thinks it's OK to sacrifice 1 person for a whole population." We get some new characters in the current arc of the story but they're not really there so I didn't bother to mention them. There is a guy who seems to be following Max and the last page implies he possibly has a power but we don't know what it is yet. As for the other new characters I've mentioned before, I don't really like them as I said. I do like the artwork but I'm not a fan of the framing of the faces like they looks a bit too long compared to how the characters look in the game. But what do I know, I read Berserk, of course I'm gonna be a little critical. I did share some pages with a friend of mine who reads a lot of comics but he doesn't seem to like it ether.

If there is anything I could change I would get rid of the new characters and have many things play out better. The writing in the dialog isn't very good in my opinion. Life is Strange isn't really known for good writing. Not even the script with more serious moments as exceptions being redeemed by the voice acting from the VAs of Max and Chloe is where the story shines. In the comic I felt like they tried too hard making it feel like the game but they completely missed the mark with this one.

I hope the comic gets better because I have noticed the people involved haven't really done much (unless Amazon is giving me false information not crediting them properly) so I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope it does get better. The comic is technically still at the early stages but some things feel a bit rushed in my opinion. So I hope for the best.

What about you guys? Did you read the comic? If so what did you think?

Crappy fanfiction. Thats all it is. Its about as legitimate as all those written "alternative " endings for LiS by 12 year old Tumblr fangirls.

A very well-written story. Interesting String theory and Parallel worlds.

i believe its not theory because its logical

Until it's a proven fact, it's a theory, regardless of what you believe ;)

well its not a theory because multiverse exist. thats logical. i dont need some egghead to tell me how i should think.
What kind of evidence do you have in support of this theory?

Some people find it logical, that the earth is flat. Doesn't make it true, though.

logical kind. im wearing a jane doe t-shirt now but in another universe im wearing raven t-shirt. thats logical. thats logical evidence also. thinking there is only one universe is moronic
If you now have a jane doe t-shirt, how do you know that in another universe you have a raven t-shirt? If now i have a black t-shirt with a white skull, how can i know what a t-shirt in another universe?

Because its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ logical. Even if i have the same t-shirt doesnt mean i cant do different things

Can't you see you're talking nonsense? You may believe that there are parallel realities, but that doesn't make it a fact. It only becomes a fact when it has been scientifically proven.

It's the same as if you would say that the existence of God is a fact and not a belief. As long as there is no proof for or against it, there is nothing you can do but believe that it is true.

Multiverse it's not logical facts, is science theory, nothing more. You live in your bubble, where if someone tries to present you facts, you call him moronic.

It's not science and not a theory. It's a fantasy. Universe is a theory about everything exist in one place. That's a theory. Nobody been at the edge of the universe to tell if it's true but it's easy common understanding reality is universe. Even if there be multiverses it wouldn't be multiverse because if you can travel to one world to another it's an universe. If there are ways we won't be able to know since if we know it can't exist. As soon we discover the existence of multiverse, at the same moment the idea about multiverse collapses on its own. It's a paradox, you can't know the existence about another universe since if you do it's no longer another universe. Multiverse is commonly confused with dimensions since there can be many dimensions in an universe of how things look from your perspective. If there's a planet in the universe with close to equal timelines it's a dimension of a timeline.
It can't exist because if it does, the existence of the possibility cease to exist. Theories must be at least proven once even in extreme conditions. Santa could also be a theory if multiverse can be a theory that he haven't been seen around for many years since nobody is good enough to not be on the naughty list.
Timetravel is another fantasy who we see in every movie. The only way you can travel through time is by living in a timeline through the settings of a specific timeline. Because time is an illusion. If you want it realistic Max destroyed the world every time she timetravel, when she rewind she is telekinetic moving and stopping objects.

But it's like all things in the fantasy, when you entered the world of human those things who were in the fantasy becomes lies.

This is not fantasy. I will not rewrite entire pages, but I recommend Hopkins' book "A Brief History of Time", quantum mechanics is a stage that we are not yet able to understand well.
