Cameo for Max in Life Is Strange Season 2 (Idea + long read)

Ok first lemme make this clear. This is not a theory or speculation, this is just something I came up with and would like to be implemented (even though it will highly be unlikely). Got it?

This is about Life Is Strange Season 2, while also being about Season 1. If you haven't heard, LIS 2 is not a direct sequal to LIS 1 and will contain a new cast. However, I would like Max Caulfield to show up in LIS 2, and I've come up with an idea to do so.
Before I explain the idea, let me place a transition between LIS 1 and LIS 2 (what could happen between the time gap between both games). After the adventures of Max and Chloe (either ending of LIS 1) Max decides to remember their adventure by writing a story, the story about her week with time rewinding powers, but she also changed details to make it seem like a fictional story she 'made up'. She submits this story and even though it's not a huge success, it is recognised and she continues her pursuit with photography. She also loses her time rewinding powers somehow.

ALRIGHT now time for the real idea. I'll assume the person who gains the ability in LIS 2 will have similar powers to Max. This person informs their friend(s?) of their newfound ability and they decide to research it (how did this happen, logical explanation, etc.). They eventually come across Max's 'fictional' story, and are convinced this has happened to her.
CONVENIENTLY, Max happened to be nearby to the new cast showcasing her new photos in a gallery. Once the gang meet her, they ask her about her book, and after much discussion (and rewinding) Max and the new cast know about their (late for Max) time rewind powers. After this, Max teaches the powered person new abilities (like photo focusing) and gives them tips, like Chaos Theory. Of course, Max would never stay with the new cast for the entire game and has to leave for her photography tour (or whatever), but she does warn them that something horrible will happen, like it did to her. She may not be seen again for the rest of the game, but this would be enough for me.

So that's my idea, sorry for the long read, it's just something I came up and would love to be implemented.

They have said that if there will be cameos, and I would also like to appear Max, obviously also Chloe but that if it is much more improbable since it would be to demean to one of the end of season one

As much as I would like to see Max again, her cameo won't work for one simple reason. She is the protagonist of the first game and doesn't really have a fleshed out personality. Her personality traits come strictly from player's choices. For Max to show up as NPC character would mean that they would need to make up her personality for us and it wouldn't be a respectful gesture to all who played the first game. I'd say some of the side characters are a safe bet but well again, what if you chose Bae? Who survives that ending? That's a very tricky thing for a sequel so they should be very careful about who gets to have a cameo.

Update: I think the second best thing we could have is for some of the old voice actors to come back. Hannah Telle, Ashly Burch, Dayeanne Hutton...I'd love to hear more of them.

I agree, which is why it would be better if anyone but max came back since they had their personalities no matter what choice you made

I think that IF there will be a LiS 2 with a Max cameo, we should expect something like a flyier or a poster advertising the exhibition of a young new photographer named Max Caufield...

You have a good point there friend, but I do not agree 100% with you. There are some personality traits that Max have on her own, we can see that when we read the posters, read some (not all) of her diary entries or when she sits down to think. Of course we as a player have a great Impact, but at least the way that I was playing the game was not trying to think what I would do on the situation, but what Max would do (like when you play a table top RPG).

Most of the choices were valid in a Max standpoint (even the 2 endings), the only one that I can think from the top of my head that Max probably would never do is lure Pompidou into the road and hurt him.And of course there are some points in the game that we players would do something different but we don’t really have a choice because we are Max saving William's life on the past for example

Therefore, I think that is possible to have a Max cameo on season 2 without being disrespectful with the players. However, I do not think that they would try to do such a direct cameo for her. And above all that I really think that after all the things that Max went through in the last chapter, (Independent of the ending that you chose) Max would receive a great impact on her personality, because of that I don't think that her story was really completed, but the developers most likely left like that so that we could interpret in our own way.
