I can't share this game with my friend. I share my whole library with them, through the whole family option and all that jazz - and Life is Strange is the only game that just... Refuses to show up in their library. It's just not there. Everything else works, but not this one wild buck.
We are currently trying to work around it, but yeah, it'd be nice if we didn't have to.

You can't share a game with someone who already has it. If they don't have it, they can borrow your game and all DLC (in this case episodes 2-5) but if they do have it they can't borrow anything from you and Steam adds free games to your Library as soon as you play them. This means anyone who plays LiS counts as owning it and can't borrow someone elses (even though they only 'own' episode 1). I've heard a workaround is for your friend to find LiS in hteir Library and choose to remove it through the options within the Steam Library. Once they have given up their free copy they should be free to borrow yours but they might need to repeat the process every time they want to play it (even though the full game will be installed on their PC by that point).
