Five Nights at Freddy's

So who here knew March of the Toreadors before FNAF was a thing?
I did. Played it on the Piano after a good few months of Practice. Though personally I don't mind the amount of attention it gets thanks to this game. It's a nice song, more people know of it the better.
Incase you have no idea what the Heck I'm on about, see if 1:23 of this song rings a bell.

I was acually learning about Carmen (the opra Toreadors March originated from) in school the week FNaF came out. When I heard the song in-game, I refused to believe it was the same thing untill my brother convinced me. Plus, the Marionette's song is a real song, too. I just don't know what it's called.

It's called "Pop goes the weasel".

The use of the Toreador song is interesting because in the opera Carmen, where it is reprised a few times, it plays in the background of the final moments of the opera while the titular character is being stabbed to death.

Hm. Glad someone picked up on that aswell. I only realised it last night myself.

Also, at the start of the last act, the townsfolk sing it when the bullfighter enter the procession, but with slightly different words from the song proper. The lines basically translate to: "It is the Espada, the final blade, he who comes to end it all, who appears at the end of the drama and who raps the final blow."

This pretty much applies to Freddy, who shows up at the end to kill you if you run out of power.

Well, that was actually my favorite classical piece as a child, so nowadays I can't look in the comments section of videos that feature that song (like the one you posted above) without the feeling of my childhood being ruined.
LITERALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EVERYONE. I can't believe this is a question. smh

10/10 nice necropost
You're right Vallytine, I should have said something sooner. Who was aware there was an animatronic dinosaur exhibit in St.George the neighboring city to Hurricane nearly a month prior to the release of fnaf1?
