Foxy is NOT a good guy
So there is this theory going around that Foxy is a good guy.
The reason why is because is when youre not checking the cameras he gets paronoid and checks on you to tell you theres nothing to worry about.
However his voice box malfunctions and gives mike a heart attack.

Obviosly this theory is not true.
there are many reasons why...
1. How do you still end up in the suit,
2. why does he jump on u in fnaf2
3. if his voice box is malfunctioning how can he sing so well
4. also if his voice box is malfunctioning wouldn't other animatronics have malfunctioning voices too

The list goes on but im to lazy to write right now...

this theory was obiviosly made due to the popularity of foxy, and because people couldnt take the fact that he is evil.

Also according to youtuber smike people went far enough to say he jumps on you fnaf2 because he wants to hug you.............................................................................................................................................................really? that was the worst theory for fnaf 2

I don't really think he's a good guy per say, but I do believe he didn't cause the Bite of '87. Mangle did. Again, why else do the Toy animatronics get scrapped or are supposed to be getting scrapped and the old ones brought back, albeit in a smaller location? (That's a good hint that FNAF2 is a prequel.) Also, while Foxy's place being "Out of Order" could just be because they're skittish after the incident with Mangle, who is pretty much Toy Foxy.

Someone agrees with me! I say that the theory has too much going against it and people just have to accept that they like an antagonist.

Fanart, comics, and animations tend to make characters who aren't even remotely good guys into good guys. This is very common with the series my namesake is from. The fan-made stuff doesn't change a thing. The Organization, besides maybe Axel and Roxas (and Xion, sort of) are all bad guys. Yes, even whiny boy Demyx.

Foxy might of not caused the Bite of '87, at least in my theory, but it doesn't make him a good guy. He's still out to stuff you, either for a mistaken identity with Purple Guy or because they want you as new friend, forever. (I don't believe the endoskeleton crap to be honest.)

Isa the Luna Divider i have to agree with u there because when i make artwork and animations i tend to make the characters good guys. However when i play the game, i see them as bad guys.


As for the bite of 87, my theory is it was one of the toy animatronics which is why they were scrapped after night 6.

It has to be Toy Foxy/ Mangle. Why go back to the old Foxy, other than he's awesome? Maybe because the redesigned version was forever linked with the Bite of '87. The new animatronics in association with Mangle got or were slated to be scrapped because of the incident. However, because of anxiety over Toy Foxy going wrong, the Cove might of been "Ot of Order" for that reason. It doesn't help Mangle's case in how they attack (even more direct to the frontal lobe than normal Foxy) and that they were ripped apart and tortured by the children, then neglected when the staff got tired of putting him/ her back together.

However, the new teaser for FNAF3 brings up new questions. If it's a prequel again, than whatever. If it's more present tense.. well, actually, I call bs on the scrapping the Toy Animatronics part. (They probably just said they were going to do it.) I think they or parts of them were actually stored away.
