It's a mechanic to keep you from having your doors closed for too long. You survive it by always knowing where Freddy is. He also teleports to you if you don't watch him on camera for too long.

No, he can't. When he's in the East Hall Corner (Cam 4B), he can only get in if you check the monitor without closing the right door first.

I think the reason people think he teleports in is because you can still close the door even when he's already in the office.

If so, How would I know he's there?

Just Close The right Door Every Time You Check the Cam, and he Probably Won't Get You, However You can screw it Up Easily, Just Watch mark's Fail attempts at 20/20/20/20 XD

If you don't know where Freddy is at all, then you should close the right door before you check the camera.

Freddy cannot instantly teleport into your Office. Nor can he sneak into the room when both doors are closed.

When Freddy becomes active, he will follow a path to the Office. He'll leave the Show Stage, go to the Dining Area, then the Restrooms, followed by the Kitchen, towards the East Hall, and finally at the East Hall Corner (CAM4B).

The major differences between him and Bonnie and Chica are that, unlike those two, Freddy will not wander about. He'll follow his path directly to you, and he won't retreat once he has advanced. Each time he moves, a deep, demonic laugh emits. You have to watch him on the camera to keep him from advancing. His difficulty level rises each night, meaning you have to check on him more frequently to prevent him from moving.

The other difference is that, unlike Bonnie and Chica, you'll never catch him with the "Lights". He doesn't stand outside your door like the others. Once he's made it to CAM4B, he's literally one advancement away from getting inside your office.

You can prevent him from getting into your office if he's at CAM4B by closing the right door every time you use the Monitor. If you don't, there's a high probability that he'll use the opportunity to sneak into the Office and then attack. There's often a small delay between when he sneaks in and when he actually attacks, causing some people to believe that he can teleport into your room or bypass the Doors.
