Multiplayer mode?
I was thinking about making Five Nights at Freddy´s a multiplayer game too! Like that you would be able to play as the animatronics against the guy you usually play as!

I could see that. Like, you can switch between animatronics and set them to different rooms. Foxy would move on his own, but you could see when he would do so, and obviously none of the animatronics would be moveable if Mike was looking at them.

I Dont think this would because playing as the animatronics would be to OP could all you would have to do is camp out the guys door it would be that easy.

Well if there was a multiplayer mode, the player who is Mike would have limited power. So he would have to save it.

1. what zeer0 was saying was that the anomotronics (if you could move them in multiplayer) could just stand outside his door untill mike ran out of power

2. this problem could be fixed by making the anamotronics have to move after a certain amount of time

3. the anomatronics could have abilities (ex. bonnie's "teleport") or buffs (ex. freddy is hard to see or chica can stand outside door longer) to add some difrense to the anamotronics

4. foxy could act as a kind of "he didnt check pirtes cove enough, do you want to launch foxy or save for later" button (just throin ideas)

5. instead of one player controlling ALL of the anomotronics, it could be mike (1 player) vs. all the anamotronics (4 player; or 3 an foxy is controlled by computer, as having to wait is very boring). this would make anamatronic gameplay much easier

6. this would finally let FNAF fans see the kitchen and the hall ways better

7. sorry for my spelling

Well, it is best to only have a 1v1 when it comes down to it, and both players should have almost the same interference with the cameras. Like the majority said, one player plays as the protaganist, and the other controls where the characters go.
It'd be pretty cool to have the animatronics in FP, and there could be a failsafe system where the door doesn't drain any power if you stand near it more than X minutes or X seconds. Also with FP, you would have to watch out for cams.

Here is how it should work:

For a multiplayer feature, you will be playing against only one person while you play as the protaganist, or the "Operator"/"Controller" who moves the animatronic characters from one room to another.

1.Interference as the animatronic controller:

-As the Controller, you are in a room with a black screen infront of you, and a computer to your right. That computer will display the name of a room where your oppenent is looking at through the camera.

-You use the same drawing map as the protaganist, and you can see trough your opponent's camera by reaching to the same icon where you would originally use the camera.

-In your drawing map, there are 4 small icons of the animatronic characters. You can click on one of them, and then right click on a room to move. However, the more you move or the more rooms your characters pass, the more cool down each characters get. (I'll explain more of that later).

-Over all, this is all a point and click game like it was desinged to be.

2. Controlling the Animatronic characters:

-Left click on a character, then right click on the room to move them. But there are catches to this.
A. Each character will have a cool down time after moving one. You can see the timers from each character by moving the mouse to an icon the the top left corner. ALSO your character cannot move when being watched by the oppenent.
B. When an in-game hour or two has passed, an icon on the top side of the screen should pop up and say "scramble." What it does is that it scramles your characters' locations and disables the cameras temporarily. You can use this to your advantage if you don't do anything until 3 A.M and make your opponent panic by pressing it 3 times.

-Since Bonnie and Chica are the only ones who can be in the blind spot, you can use them to stay there, but it will send them back to a different room. The limit for Bonnie is 12 seconds. And the limit for Chica is 20 seconds. However, the longer they stay, the further they get back away from the player. However, if your oppenent doesn't close the door in a specific amount of time, you will have a chance at winning if your oppenent looks at the cameras again.

-Controlling Foxy will be different however. Foxy will be located where he obviously starts in. However, there is a gage in the icon of Room 1C that increases when a player doesn't stare at it. The only way to stop the gauge from increasing is to....well...keep an eye on Foxy; however, it doesn't decrease.
NOTE: Above the icon of Foxy should have a number above it. The number changes increasingly from 0-3.
0. Curtain not open.
1. Curtain open showing its face.
2. Foxy out in front of the curtains.
3. Foxy on the move. (The icon moves slowly towards the oppenent on 3, however, moves quickly if oppenent views the left hall.).

-Freddy will be special. You can control him the same way as Bonnie and Chica, but....
A. It has a longer cooldown than Bonnie and Chica
B. It will can move when pressing scamble (usually only twice)
C. Can skip the kitchen and hallway towards the corner. Once that happens, then within 5 to 7 seconds, it will attack the oppenent straight on.

3. Nights.

-Each night is like a round. You win by winning in the best of 1, 3, or 5.

-Each night is also like a difficulty modifier for the protaganist and the controller.
NIght 1 would be the easiest for the protag, but the hardest for Contoller. and vice versa.

-After each night, you and your oppenent switch roles. However, to allow players to recover from jumpscares, there will be an optional breaktime that the host can set up.

What do you think? :3
