Survivor's main objective would be to slow Freddy till 6pm, since it's the "endgame item" that can approach and kill people regardless of doors. Each player gets 20% more electricity, and also they can give each other electricity so the enemy can't just camp a single guy. Can give electricity, but cannot request. ( unless you use morse code ) Dead guy's electricity is lost. In the end, at least one person must survive to escape and tell the tale of the horrid establishment.
Freddy and his friends would have to plan to waste player's energy and disrupt them from watching Freddy, or to make an organized surprise attack on a single player. Guards cannot distinguish between AI and actual players. They can try to predict and keep track of them though.
Of course there should be a delay between bot players moving between areas and blind spots, plus cooltime before camera jams and attacks. They also cannot 'camp' near a single guard post forever, they periodically have to move away from them. Their main role is to harrass survivors, but can go for kills at the right opportunity.
Door malfunctions are targeted to a random player once in a match by AI, but there is no clear indication of it happening so that Freddy's gang can take notice. But if the enemy player notices you suddenly not using the door at all, you're pretty much screwed if you're attacked during that. Just hope the door works before the attack cooltime ends.
2 vs 2 multiplayer would be okay, ONLY under the rule that survivors cannot chat, and cannot immediately know if the other person's dead. However, the monitor in the room shows the amount of electricity each have, and which cameras are being used. You can see other player using lights and doors through the glass.
Bot players control separate bots while there's still AI wandering around. Has the ability to teleport, temporarily shut down the camera. Their attacks can be only done in the office's blindspot. They also have access to the minimap where they can locate friendly AI and what doors, lights and cameras the nightwatches are using. Does not show the amount of electricity of survivors though.
Foxy is also available for control after it spawns, so nightguards should keep their eyes on the cameras so they know which player or entrance it's going to attack. Freddy is entirely AI.
In the end, I do agree multiplayer will lose most of the game's horror aspect, at least for the Bot players. But would like to see it become a horror version of chess.
