Is this playable with a gamepad?
No tag on the Steam store, and a quick Google session didn't turn up an answer.

This is mouse only, no hotkeys, just clicking around. It could be a problem to some people but I think the cliunkyness of it all helps the mood a lot.

All right, thanks. It's not a problem to me at all, I just considered streaming it to the TV. Hunched over in the dark in front of the gloomy light of the PC's monitor it is, then.

On the contrary, it is possible. I just used a Logitech Gamepad F310 on Five Nights at Freddy's 1 by binding the mouse cursor to the X and Y axis of one of the analog sticks, and the left mouse button to various buttons on the controller itself I might use for specific actions (i.e. left/right triggers for lights, left/right shoulder buttons for doors, etc.). I do have yet to see how it fares with an Extreme 3D Pro Joystick though.
So, to answer your question in whole, yes it is playable with a gamepad, but just not a genuine experience.

The best recommendation I can give for external devices in conjunction with the game, would be a pen tablet like Wacom Intuos. Now THAT is a kick in the pants to play any Five Nights at Freddy's game with, and the closest you can get to "being in the game" so to speak.
Well, if you have joy2key you can setup the Rotational pad for it to move the mouse... You know what i mean...

I actually ended up using the Logitech gaming software. But I'm sure Joy2Key would work too. In fact I think that'd be more stable.
