I'm on the latest version (Dec 1, 2016) and the game won't start

Having the same problem on Nvidia Driver: 388.31

Spoke to Nvidia about it on a live chat and they just wanted me to uninstall & reinstall my NVIDIA Driver or to roll back, I asked them to alert the appropriate people at NVIDIA to try get the Issue fixed with the next Nvidia Driver...

Even tho this thread is over 3 years old, could you share the reason.

I got it working by

• Going to the NVIDIA Control Panel
  
• Choosing 'Manage 3D Settings'
  
• Then under the Program Settings tab I added this application (found at \steamapps\common\Animated Storybook Winnie the Pooh\Game-Winnie.exe)
  
• Then I chose 'Integrated graphics' as the preferred graphics processor

You can also go to the application folder, right-click on the application and choose 'run with graphics processor' > 'Integrated graphics'

This only works if your main graphics card is Nvidia and you also have integrated graphics

If you only have NVIDIA on Windows 10 the solution is simple:

Right click on Game-Winnie.exe, select Properties, then Compatibility tab. Click on "Disable fullscreen optimizations" and click Apply. The game should now work.

i've the same problem buy for my daughter last year and work, now the game crash after a few second, don't know why??? reinstal, check graphic card etc all ok on my pc.

Just bought this for my daughter and works fine... Maybe u guys haven't updated your pc and drivers or maybe u got pc from 80's :D

I have the same problem. My computer Win10, I9 processor freezes....

Had the problem of this game not starting. Fixed it by reducing the resolution of the monitor down from 3840x2160 to 1920x1080.

This is the correct solution, after spending several hours checking all my drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling, and getting ready to lose my mind i finally finished reading this thread! Thank you, this fixed my issues with Soul Reaver 2, which i spent many hours last weekend trying to fix.
