Disney Winnie the Pooh

Disney Winnie the Pooh

Same as from the early 2000s?
I remember when I was a little boy and there was a Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree Animated Storybook CD-ROM that I wanted but never got, so when I saw this I was unreasonably excited. But then I looked at the screenshots, and I was like... yeah, this doesn't look like the one from back then at all. Is my memory bad, or is this new?

On another note, anyone else grow up with Disney computer games?

I noticed too! Though I'm assuming they had to update the games graphics reguardless. Perhaps its the same story and just updated graphics? Hopefully someone will do a review comparing the two at somepoint.

It looks to be a later updated remake to me, but it's hard to tell considering it has both the original Media Station-developed artwork and roughly the same system requirements as the 90s release.

I may or may not be crazy enough to actually do that.

In any case, I grew up with a ton of Disney games, especially others in the Animated Storybooks line. I know for sure I had The Lion King at some point, but it unfortunately succumbed to scratches. I still have the original version of this one, Toy Story, and 101 Dalmations from the series, though. Toy Story was technically impressive for its time, being a 256-color PC game that still captured the majestic colorfulness of Pixar's design through pre-rendered FMV animations. In fact, Pixar themeselves apparently developed the game! 101 Dalmations is 2nd best in my book because of the huge amount of interactivity and minigames it had compared to most other games in the lineup.

Yeah, i grew up with the original 1996 program as well (i believe it was from 96), and i was suprised at seeing Winnie the Pooh on steam. But when i went to the store page, the screenshots looked very different.
