Lords of Chaos
Chaos reborn is great game and a great remake of the original. I was wondering if the same treatment could be applied to Lords of Chaos. I miss having an inventory and hit points among other things, the campaign and system in LOC isn’t really around anymore, there are some games that come close but I’m not a fan of grid open battlefield games(except chaos reborn). Anyone know any LOC like games out there or maybe if there’s a remake in the pipes?

To this day I am intrigued as to what Lords of Chaos was like. I had Laser Squad and loved it but never played Lords of Chaos. Never came acorss Avernum before but added it to my wish list.

There's a few videos of it knocking about on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ljzc_om2ok8

I know its quiet a ways off... but Armello falls under the same umbrella that Chaos does, theres a Hex grid, spells, and most importantly RNG management.

It's also a really fun game, one I'm sure that most Chaos fans will enjoy as well.

I loved Lords of Chaos (and Laser Squad) but I must admit I wonder if the nostalgia glasses cloud things.
I met a guy who got the original art to develop a Laser Squad board game.
I don't know if he managed it.

So is this related to Lords of Chaos?

Same developer.. It's a remake of his 'Chaos: The Battle of Wizards'.

It made for a good first project for Snapshot Games before they embarked on remaking X-Com (the game he is most well known for).
